If I'm figuring right there will be 11 holes in Africa AAA to fill. And with Africa AA4 being all CPU all the teams will come from 3 leagues. So the Top 3 from each league will promote plus 2 of the #4's. But really if the Parasites go CPU then all 3 #4 teams will promote. So 3-4 teams from this league will be in AAA together next year unless they split us up and shuffle like they probably will. Also more AAA/Pro teams could go CPU at rollover day 40 and increase this number.

Well I meaning 4 teams each from Africa AA 1, 2, 3. With 8 playoff winners in each conference there would have to be 8 more CPUs in Pro and AAA1 & 2. Which we could expect a few more who knows.
BUt....your question still legit. Because half the teams in AAA right now would've have finished in the middle of this league. And you also have a mass of 6 uncapped minors that will disolve this year. SO the teams will either gut and demote, go CPU or promote. Plus you have all the teams coming from cap 46. So there could be such an influx of teams into AA that they have to bump current teams up to AAA. Of course they do have 8 leagues in AA with all CPU teams. But there are 5 minors league, 5 cap 46, and 6 cap 42. All too much to figure it out. But there will be a mass influx in to AA that's for sure.

OH! you're talking dilution. I guess the heyday of GLB is over. I hope Bort put his money in bonds.

It was an exciting season...Congrats to Paramaribo. They came in and put actions to their words with 1 hand tied behind their back.
We'll see those that promote in the AAAs next season, provided the downdraft isn't deafening.

Thanks. Still really bummed that the team is breaking up. Was really the perfect storm of great builds and Mel & 2ndhand were great owners.

No I'm just saying that a min of 3-4 teams from each double AA league will go to AAA and a max of say 7-8 could if the updraft from the cloud leagues is high. I'm saying there is a possibility that quite a few of us will move up to the same league next year. But who knows what Borticus has up his sleave. He could shuffle our asses to different leagues altogether. We'll await the almighty's proclamation.

Well, at first I didn't care for being run over to this conference, but a man has to accept change. So I fell on the floor and pitched a fit that only a 4 year-old high on Nerds could appreciate. Anyway after gathering my childhood together I figured I should go out and figure out how to make the team better. Then we get bitch-slapped by Hanoi. Again I went out to my garage and tore up the first anvil I could find. Then I composed my wussness and broke down how Hanoi broke us down, we were foes over in AA#4 on two occasions and I knew they had a treacherous return man. Imagine my surprise that I could only score 3 on his defense. I had a beer on that one.
Then I had to face 4 of the top finishers in our conference and it was either bat or ball time. this was very much a 50/50 season and many of our decisions could have gone awry, but things worked out good and we were able to account for ourselves in the regular season.
Nothing to this drivel other than we've been Bort'd around twice now. bort kicked us up to CanAs when we were A level pups and then to AA#4 when we were a 60 matchup and everyone up here was a 63 or better. Times have changed and now you'd better have a matchup of high 66 or you're going to suffocate around here. "Africa AAs are pussy leagues" is not even close to accurate. We may not match up well in some USA AAs or Canada AAs but I DefCoord'd three other AA teams and week in week out no other conference had the matchups so high as we did. Sorry Lion I can't speak for you, and no slight intended but PSJL's competition level was very high and it was a long season.
So props to ALL of Elephant Conference. You guys were the toughest season we've ever faced and I appreciate the game brought by all teams.
Props to Elephant!

Yeah your right. Africa has had an influx of great teams the last 2 seasons. And while the bottom half of the leagues are suspect (or CPU) the top half has a lot of high level teams. I believe your team is going to see good times ahead. You know unfortunately IDK who else will be coming with us next year. Of the 8 teams that won playoff games only your's mine and Somali aren't gutted or CPU. And 8 of the 16 total playoff teams are CPU or gutted. THis is what I was getting at before. Lots of older teams are giving up and starting over. And then lots of slow build semi slow build teams are burning out .
I think what I'm saying is after season 10 and 11 the pyramid leagues (AA, AAA, Pro) were stuffed with high level teams. Pro and AAA and USA AA were all close to even talent. THings thinned out terrible before this season. That's why we had about 30% CPU in Africa AA 1-4. They obviously are going to thin out even worse this offseason. Last season players started declining, so most season 1 players retired afterward. THis season most season 2 players will retire. So the talent at the top is very thin why it is much thicker at the 50-55 and under levels.
The effect this season was you had 5 teams in our league with 69 lolbars and 3 with high 66s. The teams in Africa AAA were about the same 5-6 teams at 69 and a few at 66. With the top 69s being only slightly better than our 69s. same effect in Pro hardly any movement amongst the top teams. Even in the World league there was only 2 or 3 72 lolbar teams.
Tonight IN bort's little minor league reshuffling, etc thread he said there would be a total reshuffle in season 14, of all leagues. So one more season of having the top teams spread through 3 tiers. Then maybe he'll get enough since to pull together similar lvl teams. My point is you shouldn't have 5 69s in AA and then still have 63s and 66s in the Pros. Hell there are 63s and low 66s in cap 46. He has a big problem on his hand with this. PLayer creation is real sporadic throughout this game. You had the great "slow build" wave where people just built players like crazy over sesons 6 and 7 and 8 to some extint. Large #s have retired those players as they retired their oldest players, and decided to start over.
32 D leagues, 16 Pee Wee, and 19 in cap 14. That's 67 leagues total. There are only 72 leagues in caps 18, 22, 26, 30, 31, 34, 38, 42, 46, uncapped minors. THen you have 57 leagues in the pyramid. But with one CPU league in every AA tier. You only really have 49 leagues. See there are only 16 leagues in 42, 46 and uncapped. THere are already 8 CPU leagues to fill and probably 8 more leagues worth of CPU teams already. IDK how this all works out. I bet there will be a shit load of CPUs in AA next year. Maybe 50 %. Or more unexpected BS from Bort in the next day or two.
