I swapped out a +2% hold block +2 blocking

For a

+1 Blocking +5% hold block piece

But after upgrading 5 or 6 times it is only at +17% hold block Is that correct??
I've had other pieces on my TE for example and +2% catching turned into +8% after three upgrades. Just wanted to know if it is a glitch or they calculate it differently.

yeah i have had the same thing happen to me

The % goes up by 2 each upgrade, regardless. So, upgrading a 2% piece three times would make it 8% and upgrading a 5% piece six times would make it 17%.

ah, I get it, so I really only got a +3% improvement.

It's a margainly better piece. If you could get one with an SA or more than +1 to an attribute, you'd definitely be rocking the AE threads.
