OK....Ironton vs Wallachia in Lion. Darfur vs Fat Jaws in Elephant. Doubt I'll be able to get up a good write up as I'm leaving in a bit to coach basketball practice and tomorrow night we're leaving for Savannah, GA (bout 3 hrs away) for my daughter's swim meet Saturday and Sunday. So the time I have when I get in late tonight is gonna be trying to figure out how the hell to score on Ironton.

Quick predictions:

Ironton vs Wallachia - As much as I love my team, I really don't see any chinks in the Tanks' armor. While I do think the Wamphryii are clearly the 2nd best team in the conference and quite possibly the league, it would take a Bort-nerf of galactic proportions for Wallachia to spring the upset. I'm gonna go with my heart here and say we find a way to score and I think we'll keep it closer than Uganda did but in the end it's the Tanks that march on to the title game. Ironton 31 -13

Darfur vs Fat Jaws - Darfur dominated the early matchup but I don't expect this one to be a blow out at all. Darfur's win with D attitude has been working out just fine. FJB will be trying to make amends for their offenses terrible showing in the first game. This one will be much closer but I think Darfur has just a little too much. Darfur 24-12

I think it will be a heck of a lot closer this time around, Scully. I am sure your going to have a few surprises for us, and I doubt Vick will be shut down like he was our 1st game. I am sure he will find a crack of daylight up the middle once or twice...not like we're preparing for that or anything. I am sure your guys will be ready to play, and will bring everything they have at us. Just expect us to do the same.

Ironton 27 vs Wallachia 22

I haven't followed Darfur or FJB that much this season other than looking at the final scores, so I agree with Scully. Obviously Darfur is 16-0 for a reason.

Darfur 21 vs FJB 20

GL to All! Hope they are all close. Great teams in the playoffs this year.

FJB will handle their business as I think they have under played all season they are making a statement in the playoffs

Really a great game. Could have gone either way.

Argghh....my general offensive gameplan worked out ok but in retrospect, I should have run 95% of the time instead of 70%. The D is all Wil75....without him we may have been 5th place instead of 2nd. Absolutely give him props on keeping us in the game. The fumbles really hurt us as one led to you guys only TD and the other was when we were near the goal line and could have come out with at least 3. But then our D returned the favor, both times when you guy were on our side of the field. All in all it was an excellent game and it went pretty much the way it had to go in order for us to have a shot.

Congrats to you and all the Tanks on the Lion championship. You guys have a helluva team and from a personal standpoint you have been a lot of fun to compete against. Good luck in a couple days against Darfur....make Lion proud.

Out of town until tomorrow night so I'm just fortunate I've managed enough web time to watch the game and send out congrats to the winners. I'll attempt to do a League championship write up tomorrow night once we're back home.
