1) Ironton (10-0) - The Tanks face the biggest roadblock left on their schedule this week in Le Thor.

2) Le Thor (10-0) - OK I said I was gonna leave them and the Wamphyrii tied but how often do you get a chance at a #1 vs #2 matchup this late in the season.

3) Darfur Depopulators (10-0)
- Proved their mettle last week against Fat Jaws and will likely cruise through the rest of the regular season.

4) Wallachia Wamphyrii (9-1)
- Dominated the enigmatic Stink Apes this week and are keying in on the week 16 matchup with Le Thor.

5) Fat Jaws Badness (9-1) - Huge rebound win this week vs the Gnomes, who aren't a bad team. The Badness made them look like one though.

6) Luxembourg (9-1)
- More difficulty than expected with the Wildebeest but they came out on top and are all but assured of a 1st round bye

7) Appalachicola (9-1)
- May be worthy of being higher here as they have given top Elephant Darfur their best game so far.

8) Serengeti (7-3)
- The best of the next tier of teams. They were tied with Luxembourg until late in the 3rd quarter and in all likelyhood will get another shot at them in the first round of the playoffs.

9) Kazan (7-3)
- Their team chemistry is coming together and they appear to be headed for 12-4 or 13-3 depending on how they handle the Badness in a few weeks. Potentially a spoiler in the playoffs.

10) Johannesburg (6-4)
- Two of their 4 losses have been to Lion powerhouses Le Thor and Wallachia. The other two games were narrow losses to playoff teams. Fun team to watch going forward.

Honorable Mention:
Bangkok (8-2) - Props b/c of the record but their last 6 games are all against teams in the top 8 of Elephant
Houston (5-5) - Looking a lot better than they did early in the season.

GOTW - Lion
Ironton vs Le Thor
- Will the Tanks crush the Devil Bats just like they have everyone else that has stood before them? Or is Le Thor not only tired of hearing me talk about how good Ironton is but also capable of doing something about it? I have been more and more impressed with Le Thor as the season progresses, but my guess is they don't quite have enough for the Tanks. But I will be surprised if this one is terribly one-sided.

GOTW- Elephant
Darfur vs Bangkok
- Here is Bangkok's chance to shut me up and prove they aren't just a product of a cupcake early season schedule. I can't imagine Darfur being challenged here but on paper, the Barebacks don't look too shabby. Still, the only thing they can hang their hat on is they stayed within 2 TDs of Le Thor in a pre-season scrimmage. I expect Darfur to win this game by at least the equivalent of Jessica Simpson's chest measurements.
