Bikini Island Atomic Surfers vs. Gold Coast Michelin Men
What a great week of football we have at hand and we are starting off with what could be the coup of the season. GCMM is riding high as of last week but for some reason the more I watch BIAS the more I feel like they are a bad match up for my boys. I am tempted to pick the upset here but my faith is strong and I know our dots are going to bring it full force every week. The Surfers could win this game but I think the Michelin Men will escape with another W as they prepare to face the best teams in the league the next two weeks. GCMM by 16
Phoenix Eagles vs. USB Rough Riders
USB would love to get some positive momentum and while they have a game here that they can win I just don't think they are going to pull it off. The Eagles are a tough team and look to have too many horses for the upstart Rough Riders. Phoenix by 17
So Cal BDC vs. Fiji Ventures
Fiji is probably on autopilot at this point. I can't see So Cal dropping this one under any circumstance but as GCMM's match up with BDC looms ever closer I wouldn't mind seeing the boys from So Cal dropping another game or two. BDC by 48
Taylor Bulldogs vs. Molokai Lavastorm
Taylor needs a win and they will find it here. I doubt the Bulldogs will be in the postseason race but this game keeps them alive another week. Taylor by 42
Tasmania Tigers vs. Eastern European Alliance
EEA can't drop many more and keep their playoff hopes alive. Of the three teams at 4-4 they have the easiest opponent this week and should benefit by it. Alliance by 122,809
Christchurch Fighting Maori vs. Telstar Rebels
Telstar is another of the 4-4 teams that really needs to win every game to get to the post season. Unlike EEA the Rebels have drawn a very tough opponent this week and will probably be chasing that 8th spot because of it. I really can't see the Maori dropping this one but my friends at Telstar are very talented and could shock the world I suppose. Christchurch by 38
Liechtenstein Lycans vs. Gold Coast Vipers
The Lycans find themselves in the middle compared to the level of competition faced this week by the other two 4-4 teams. The Vipers are definitely top talent but not invincible and LL can game plan with the best of them. It is going to take some fluky stuff probably but this game could go to the Lycans. I expect that will not be the case. GCV by 21
Guam Chamoros Rising Sun Devils vs. (N.M.I) Pagan Fire Eaters
This could be the game of the week. Both of these teams are playing very well and while N.M.I. is probably the favorite in some folk's minds I feel like Guam is right there with them. With that said I am afraid that the pagan Fire Eaters may be able to find just enough of an edge but keep your eyes on this one. It should be a dandy!!! N.M.I. by 6
