Shouldn't have spent initial 15 SP, but just keep going strength for a while and you'll be fine.

Yep, you probably could have trained strength a little before you spent you SP but it should still work out ok with the new rolling system. You should cap strength at level 3. Just keep putting SP into strength until it is 69 to 74 not including equipment. Train blocking and agility while you are doing this.

Generally I create a new player on day 41. For an O lineman I take strength as high as I can when I create him. Then I save my 15 SP and train strength and blocking. Some agents normal train only strength. I guess it is a preference as there are upsides and downsides to both strategies.

Anyways, now that we have the new player creator it is very easy to train a skill to 28 with 85% to 99% trained by level 2 or 3. That is a perfect time to take strength to 48 which is generally the first cap. The decimal points usually prevent a player from hitting 49 which is sometimes possible if you have 48.07 or less.

Anyways, at level 2 or three is a great time to reach your first cap for strength. Then I generally push strength to 69 by no later then level 10. That is 69 not including equipment. Others take strength higher. Again different strategies but most will agree that 68 as soon as possible is the bare minimum.
