Bikini Island Atomic Surfers vs. Eastern European Alliance
BIAS is now striving for W #2. Unfortunately they are once again facing a tough opponent with a greater need to win imo. EEA is close to being a top tier team but they are going to have to win all of the games where they are favorites and find a way to beat a couple of the teams ahead of them to get back in the race for a home playoff game. The Surfers once again are capable of winning this game but they are going to have to play a great game to win. Alliance by 13
Phoenix Eagles vs. (N.M.I) Pagan Fire Eaters
Both of these teams are somewhat quietly staying in the top group but one of the semi-mighty must fall tonight. Phoenix is possibly the better team on paper but N.M.I. is one of the best coached teams in the region. I could see it going either way but I have to give the nod to the Pagan Fire Eaters. So Cal BDC vs. USB Rough Riders
So Cal finally gave one up last week but they are facing a team on a bigger skid so I have a feeling USB will be pressing while the boys of the BDC are better prepared to get it done on the field. The Rough Riders may keep it close for a time but So Cal has too many horses. BDC by 42
Gold Coast Michelin Men vs. Molokai Lavastorm
The Lavastorm are probably on somewhat of a cruise control policy at this point. I can't see how they would be spending too much time working on games this season but perhaps I am wrong and they are working harder than ever. If the latter is true I would be very impressed but still not very worried about tonight's game. Next season the conference had better watch out for Molokai but this season it is the Lavastorm doing the looking out. GCMM by 49
Fiji Ventures vs. Telstar Rebels
If Telstar is going to get back into this season they are going to have to win this game. Fiji has played a tough schedule and are probably better than their record would indicate but I still feel like the Rebels are a cut above. I could see Telstar dropping this one if they out-think themselves but Fiji is going to have to play a perfect game. Rebels by 21
Taylor Bulldogs vs. Guam Chamoros Rising Sun Devils
This is an interesting game. Both of these teams want to hang close to the lead pack and both need to win games like this one to do so. Taylor has the experience but Guam has a lot of gass. I could see the Bulldogs winning this game but I think the Sun Devils pull it out late in the 4th. Guam by 6

Christchurch Fighting Maori vs. Gold Coast Vipers
My brothers from GCV have a great chance to prove that the best things in life are found first in Gold Coast. Christchurch has weathered the storm so far but the competition just keeps getting tougher for them. This game could certainly go either way and while I would love to pick my friends from GCV I am afraid they are just a little behind the Maori in most categories. Of all the close games this week I think we have our best chance for an upset in this one but I am still picking CFM to win in a nail biter. Maori by 3
