Ok Uncapped 11 had nothing going on in the forum and it'd be nice for this place to get active. No clue about the Elephant conference except that Darfur is pretty good. And since I only have a little time and haven't done any elaborate scouting, I'm just gonna throw a top 5 out there for the Lion Conference from what I've seen so far.
1) Ironton Tanks - Loaded with high level starters but really didn't have any tests during the preseason. Still it's hard to not put the team with 60+ level starters across the board as the odds on favorites.
2) Wallachia Wamphyrii - Biased here but the Wamphyrii have a balanced offense with some gamebreakers at the offensive skill positions. Their DLine gets pressure on the QB and the secondary is full of ballhawks. They did beat a good Darfur team in the preseason but those games didn't count.
3) Le Thor Devil Bats - Solid performances since scrimmage one and their roster looks good across the board. Plus the name is pretty damn cool.
4) Uganda Stink Apes - Really this is just a tie for 3rd place. They have looked strong as well and also boast a stacked roster. Their next game vs the Devil Bats may help determine which is the contender and which one isn't ready
5) Luxembourg Lions - On paper don't appear to be far behind the 2-3-4 teams. Their opening game against a cupcake didn't allow much evaluation beyond that. One to watch as they play teams closer in level.
Honorable Mention: Serengeti Wildebeest
At first glance, there doesn't appear to be any other teams that will challenge for the title. Didn't mean to slight anyone but please feel free to throw out your thoughts. Also like some Elephant teams to maybe handicap their conference too.
