Alpha Conference

1. Cartoon Convicts (51)
Well ran team with quality GM's, agents and a very good OC. Put it on cruise control guys, an undefeated season awaits in this poor conference.
Complete stadium = Equipment for all, Great Chemistry

2. Brooklyn Bounty Hunters (48)
Close wins over the Thunder and Army are both quality wins. They seem to have a balanced offense and a pretty good defense.
Complete stadium = Equipment for all, Good Chemistry

3. Ogre Horde (48)
Really good team on paper, but getting destroyed by the Red Wolves and Greys suggest they may not have what it takes to bring home the Gold this season.

4. Palermo Paladins (42)
Good team with a predictable offense in the preseason. I'm very interested to see if the coordinating gets better when the season starts. They have the team talent to find themselves in the playoffs. Power back and rushing QB is causing the team levels to be lower than they really are.

5. Gold Coast War Hawks (48)
They've been completely annihilated in the preseason. Their low chemistry will prevent them from beating any quality team this season. However, by time playoffs roll around their Chemistry will be good to go. Things could change for them then.

6. Cochabamba Fighting Cocks (48)
Getting beat down by the Inmates and 5 open builds tells me that this team probably isn't ran very well.
Look at all the skill points spent on SA's by their starting NT... http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1532893 ouch, not good.

7. Chicago WebWayMonsters (42)
Seems to be a well ran team with a decent secondary. They've already beat a team they out level in the preseason, but their lower levels will prevent a trophy.

8. League of A-Holes (level 39)
Potentially good team, but they still have some work to do with their roster. 2 of their 3 LB's have their builds open... and they suck.
Complete stadium = Equipment for all, Great Chemistry (for now)

Zeta Conference

1. Carolina Red Wolves (48)
In a conference full of super star teams, the Red Wolves may be the best. No stadium or chemistry issues with one open build. This team got knocked out of the playoffs last season by the infamous GPK's. They played them very tough though. This tells me the coordinating for this team is top notch. I expect the Red Wolves to give this conference fits.

2. Green Bay Greys (48)
Another great looking team. Perfect chemistry, full stadium, no open builds, very high levels for cap 22 and they played in a tough league last season. Their AI's should be on point. They get bumped below the Red Wolves because of the head to head loss last season.

3. Leavenworth Inmates (48)
Full Stadium, Perfect Chemistry, Destroying fools in the preseason, no open builds, appropriate levels... all the makings of a Gold contender.

4. Benton Harbor Havoc (48)
Wow, the hits keep coming in Zeta. This team, like the Inmates, have what it takes to win Gold. They destroyed two decent Alpha teams.

5. Army of Darkness (48)
Another serious contender coming out of Zeta. They just missed a conference championship last season. Army has a really well coordinated defense that will keep them in every game they play. Also, I like this possession WR... http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1492330 , he's not great (no CE/lack of speed), but he was built in season 9, so he has a lot of skill points assigned.

6. Bumba Dambala (48)
I'm sure this team isn't happy with their 10-6 record and first round bounce last season. Their chemistry suggests they didn't upgrade their talent. The preseason is no help for Dambala with all the scrubs on the schedule. We will find out how good they are weeks 1, 2 and 3.

7. Morocco Mercenaries (48)
Chemistry issues should be good by mid season. The builds of their starting LDE and DT are pretty damn good. How did they get beat down by the Fighting Cocks? I'll chalk it up to preseason levels of care.

Fighting it out for the last playoff spot...
Texas Militia (45)
Their Special Teams Coach is probably the best in GLB. Seriously.

lolcanada (45)
I think they need another HB. Look out for their rushing QB Tyler Babineau... 46 rushes for 480 yards in the preseason.

They would have a chance in a different league...
Tempe Thunder (45)
Small chemistry issues with an incomplete stadium. Their close game with the Bounty Hunters is proof that this team is well ran, however they do have some open builds.

Kharkiv Lo Pans (45)
Out of 9 open builds, 1 is good. Still, better than the Sabertooths.

Thunder Bay Sabertooths (42)
The levels are too low to compete with the big boys.

I had you guys circled on my notes. I meant to go back and add you later and over looked it. Still, I only see the Lo Pans better than one team listed in the Zeta section.

Ya, looks good and thanks for the insight. As a new team and new owner NWO will gladly remain out of sight and out of mind .

I swear, we (Leavenworth) always end up in the powerhouse conference. I like competition as much as the next guy, but WOW is Zeta looking tough! We were gonna wait to boost, but now I dunno. Power Rankings look good. Nice writeup AC. It's so hard to tell in a conference like this...it will all come down to sound builds and game planning.

It's not a slap against your team. The Zeta conference is crazy tough.

I didn't take as a slap, I realize that new team+new owner+ under leveled team+tough conference = tough season. Still excited about the season though and wil try to watch and learn from you guys.
