Stonewall
This player is simply hard to move. Each level of Stonewall gives a +1% bonus to resisting being knocked down or pushed back, both while blocking and being blocked. Prereqs: weight 225,strength 50

I'm trying it out on my Center. What do you guys think? Is this a good idea?

I would think a DT would use it, since Cs & Gs are usually much stronger. If you have bigtime strength ( your C should), I don't think it's worth it.

I'm guessing it'll be of help during pass blocking, when the defenders are the one pushing forward, but almost useless on run blocking, when the OL is pushing forward. Maybe it'll help mitigate reverse pancakes...

Stonewall looks like a must. But some of the sims Ive seen it looks like it doesnt fire at all.

Very usefull if it did what it says... run blocking would help a lot since the Dline is revcaking all over the place this preseason, and obviously it should help in the pass block.

Isn't stonewall almost identical to foundation, or at the very least incredibly synergistic? Wouldn't that make it essential for the left-side, who normally grab primarily foundation for SA and AEQ?

But it also works to prevent reverse pancakes when run blocking.

yeah, I was thinking it would be useful against rev cakes.

I think it is very similar to foundation although I'm not convinced it's the same, I think foundation has an additional component than simply not getting pushed backwards.

I'd say so too based on the statement "...harder to move and get around when he is pass blocking." in the description.

Harder to get around could imply either a hold block chance or an increase to the "blocking radius" when pass blocking to keep people from running around him without engaging him. I'd guess it's a kind of hold block % bonus. But the SA only works on pass plays, the Stonewall VA works on all plays.
