Wow. I thought I'm pretty lucky recently. My goal this season is to avoid competition and have a nice Christmas vacation (happy new year guys), and I get my wish now. Moments Musicaux will have a chance to avoid the playoff and ahead to Lv 26 League the next season.

Four teams are playoff-bound now.

Budapest Exterminators - A Lv. 24 SSB team that will leave the league with 20-0 and a league title.

Mt. Saint Louis All Blacks - A Lv. 18 SB team "struggled" at notorious Lv. 13 #13 last season. Lost to LI Raider Nation at conference final so they avoided being humiliated by Garbage Pail Kids. They'll have to face the SSB team at playoff this season.

Rocky Mountain Renegades - 15-1 at Lv. 13 #9 last season. Lost to Dallas Longhorns (league champ) at conferense final. Arguably the second best team at #9 last year.

Chicago Midway Monsters - 15-1 at Lv. 13 #8 last season. Conference champion.

edit: Horton Muskrats promote to Minors Lv 26 #6, where they should be.

Budapest wins the lottery, how they do dat? Otherwise new cap system worked as promoted. Good luck to all. Look for the Rams to back into the playoffs somehow, some way. Oldbone, I will go out on a limb, and predict you will face Budapest, and be Exterminated!

Vega$ agrees with you...

... though "exterminated" is a tad harsh, don't you think?

thanks for the kind words guys, we are really proud of what we've built at Budapest (at least I know I am) and I'm personally thinking this is going to be a really fun season, looking forward to playing against all of you guys!

edit: I will admit, it seems we did get very lucky with our league placement. I hope none of you hold it against us.

naw it ain't you, just nothing any of us can do to get players at your level. I am sure Support has gotten lots of complaints...

Hey it's your right to chose where you move up, while it's Bort's responsibility to keep the balance of the game. Players who run their teams aboveboard under the rule and design of the game shouldn't take the blame. So feel free here if you decide to stay. There's noting wrong to take advantage and build a competitive team.

i agree with this. there is nothing stopping budapest(or currently stopping anyways) playing the way they have. they paid their money the same as everyone else. so if they happened to put together a great ssssssssb team to kick arse in the lower leagues, the there is no point in anyone grumbling about it. exterminate is what they will do all season. i would be surprise if m(any) team even scores against them. i wont be one of the ones complaining. i hope they have a great season and extra good luck to all that try to avoid humilation at the hands of budapest. at least one conference will be competitive until the championship game and thank god we're in it

There is some competition for Budapest. I missed the Renegades yesterday. I retract my prediction for Zeta.

the shockers will br turning on the AI's and actually competing this season, our slow build is pretty much complete anyway and we are all sitting on 100+ SP's. and we got about 150mil in the bank so EQ is no issue either. GL to all of you as I think this could actually be a rather competitive league.

SOB!! are there any more powerhouse teams in Zeta? A level 33 P, and 28 K, awesome. Not complaining, I actually rather play the tougher teams at this stage. Yeah matt, you hit on another key to building a team, which is the stadium. Income makes a huge difference in player retention, and development. There are several teams here with completed stadiums (me included). Real parity probably won't happen till the AAA level and above. Even then there are teams gutting, so I guess we just make the best of it.
