I don't know about anyone else, but I've been hard at it since the teams came out. I'm just about fried, but I've got a nearly full roster to show for my obsession.

Yeah.. I've been busting ass trying to get players on the Ironton Tanks, but luckily I now have a couple more dedicated guys giving me a hand.. if we could just get that one more linebacker.. grr

Just a few more holes to plug up and Barcelona will be good to go.

I fell into a lot of LBs early on in recruiting, so it inspired me to go with a 3-4 base. Of course, it's not in the game yet, so I have to adjust my roster to fill the 4-3 in the mean time. I sure hope the tactics updates come in soon.

I busted my hump on day 2. I worked hard on day 1, but didn't realize how strong the competition would be. Then I really got on it. We did pretty well. Right now it is hard to know if we are just better because of roster or game planning. A couple teams have given us a real fight. We're still experimenting right now.

I am pretty much ready to shoot myself over player stupidity.

Why would you ever sign a contract before you talked with the owner? Just blows my mind people sing blind contract offers.

Other than that I am good. I am pretty much 1 Cb and maybe a receiver away from being done.

You can field half a team with your own guys (11 players). I think a lot of owners went this route because the FA market is dried up, or you have to pay $100,000+ just to sign level 8 players. I have 7 players and our other Co-Owner has 7 players also. I couldn't agree with you more about player stupidity. We are bringing in 3 more O-Lineman in the next 3 days and 1 DT in 2 days and we are set. That should cut a couple hours a day off looking for players!! It was fun to look and negotiate at first, but then just got to the point where it was ridiculous to see some of the offers. Good luck to all teams as we move forward!!

I think I might consider trading my daughter for a CB =/ Well, my wife for sure. I'd have to think about the daughter.

That would be a tough call. I suppose it would depend how bad you needed that CB or if he would put you over the top

We really haven't had a tough time getting guys. Yeah we put in the hours like many did, but it sure got easier once the season started. The more good players we signed the momentum just started rolling. Now we have guys ask us all the time to join our team without even looking.

Not uncommon from what I've heard. I get unsolicited offers from FAs every day.

Same here, especially once FA's saw the scores of our first couple games. Winning helps bring talent over, thanks to a favorable schedule.

Looks on paper like you have a pretty solid squad. How many of those players are new as of yesterday? Hopefully for you, your chemistry didn't take too much of a hit since we are past the deadline (grace period).
