GAME OF THE WEEK
Sterling (9-1) @ LHC (9-1)
Another big game this week that will affect the top seeds. Both squads have played everyone hard and lost only to the Clerks. This should be a very good game and will come down to who makes the fewer mistakes. Depth on the OL could be a concern for LHC but they do have home field advantage. I think the Bulldawgs will do just enough to squeak out of LHC with the win if they can stay close through the first half.
Quick Stop (10-0) @ Bayou (3-7)
Quick Stop will continue their quest towards a perfect season this week with a blowout win against Bayou.
Taipei (8-2) @ Walburg (5-5)
Walburg has been freefalling the last 2 weeks and I don't see them bouncing back here. Taipei needs this win as they prepare to face Port Saint followed by Sahara to clean up the 4th-6th seeds and start setting the playoff picture a little clearer.
Port Saint (8-2) vs Sahara (8-2)
This is a big game for both teams. If not for Sterling/LHC this would easily be the game of the week. Over the next 3 weeks Taipei, Port Saint and Sahara will all play against each other and at the end of that span only one of those team will have a pretty clean shot at the #4 seed. If any team drops 2 games it could have a big effect on whether they stay in top 6 as well. Both teams have played very well against the top 3 teams and in the end I think Port Saint will squeeze out the win. Sahara could very easily come through with the upset though as these teams seem to be very well matched.
Fat Jaws (6-4) @ Detroit (1-9)
Fat Jaws will cruise to victory here and will need to play some of their best football the rest of the season. They need to get 3-4 wins if they want to stay in the playoff hunt and it needs to start against a team they can easily beat.
Houston (5-5) vs Durban (0-10)
Bye week for Houston. Currently in 9th place and trying to get into the playoffs. A win here will help them keep pace with Fat Jaws and jump over Walburg. After that they play Fat Jaws in a big game with playoff implications. A win will go a long way toward a playoff spot. The last 4 games will be tough for them and at best they will split them.
Abbotsford (4-6) vs G-Vegas (3-7)
Both teams are playing for pride as neither has a shot of sneaking into the playoffs. Abbotsford gets the nod due to homefield advantage.
Casablance (2-8) @ Cairo (1-9)
Casablanca gets a bye week and should take this one easily.
