Some interesting rankings.

1 Baden Bandits 7-0-0 Beta
2 Trondheim Wolves 7-0-0 Alpha
3 Kilkenny Sidhe 7-0-0 Beta

Top three undefeated teams continue to show off their winning ways with little stopping them in the next few weeks. The two Beta teams are pulling away from the pack, but the Wolves have everyone nipping at their heels. The Wolves won't even get tested until Charlottetown Matadors in three weeks.

In two weeks Rome Arcani will go up against Kilkenny Sidhe, and that should be a great game.

Four weeks out the Bandits will face Glasgow and if Glasgow continues it's winning ways it may be up to the challenge.

10 Lisbon Eagles 4-3-0 Beta
Ranked above 5-2 teams, but again, these teams are from Alpha so maybe not such a surprise.

24 Madrid Red Bulls 1-6-0 Beta
Getting love above other teams, but I'm not sure why.

Hey Neo.

Yeah, I cant really figure out why we are placed higher than the Bears for example, that beat us. But we in Madrid appreciate none the less. Its one of the high points in this week seeing as we will probably end up with only 2 wins. A rough season for us, especially when we have been used to winning. But thats what a team gets for being promoted every season and sticking with the same core of players. I expect that next season when we aren't down 15-20 lvls in average per game, that we will stand a better chance, cause we have the talent, but its difficult to compete against lvl 60+ when we are all low to mid 40.

Anyways, thanks for the games guys. Looking forward to at least be a pain in the butt for a few of you.

thanks for doing these Neo.

The Wolves have something to prove this season after losing some close ones last season. We have closed the level gap and added a few key positions to really make us tick this season. As the OC I have thoroughly enjoyed playing in a competitive Conference against quality teams and owners!

neo, so I actually looked at the top two beta teams in your rankings and did a brief scout of them.
hmmm, I would move Belfast above both of them and the Wolves to the top due to the tie breaker imho. Like last season I believe the Winner will come from Alpha Conference. Another observation, unlike last season, there isn't necessarily one team stuffed full of lvl 60-65+ players in this League (unless I missed someone) which will make for an interesting playoffs. With the right game plan anyone could win.

peace.

I don't think complaining helps much since the rankings are probably calculated by script and the script doesn't look at levels, just results and SOS

If the rankings were done manually, I doubt we'd be #1 since we are behind most of the top half teams in levels and scouting bars.

We also lost in round 2 last season and the season before (but were promoted 2 times) - and we didn't change our roster much. So if we weren't good enough the last 2 seasons in lower leagues, we pretty sure aren't this time.

I'd rather see us in 12-16th - to have a slight chance that our opponents will underestimate us but the computer rankings seem to like us and as long as they do, I guess we won't face an unprepared opponent.

This script I have uses a google spreadsheet to make it's rankings. It doesn't take into account variables like who beat each other or the scouting bars (kinda). I take three cut and pastes from different pages on the site to get the data in.

It does a good job after week 3 to show the relative teams. It's true that it doesn't do anything with strength of schedule.

I might try and add that later, but for now I don't have an easy way to get that.

I know the scouting bars aren't the best variable but taking those #'s and incorporating them into the equation would sure help.

That would require going to every team's page. The current system I have only requires me to visit two pages.
