Please no spamming, The CPU teams with OC's or ST human agents pm those guys into buying that team then we can help these new guys staff their teams with FA's etc to at least make the game less of the 255-0 blowouts that we will see several times this season. I was able to do it with Fresno and the guy got a bargain for his first team ie:full stadium, Big cash and help up front from a vet. Please adopt a team and make this not so much of a joke. All they do is PM support saying that they were once part of the team and would like to take ownership to save the franchises name.

I dont think that would be as quickly as you think. Even IF they players are willing to take over the team, its 2 games into the season already and all the players that could make them a competitive team are gone. So they will still be littered with CPU players or low level players and will still just get eaten alive. It wont work until this off season, but really the only thing that will do for the league itself, is they will have a weeks jump on getting FA's before other new owners who are waiting for their teams. Either way, it wont effect the league until season 13. Which is when those teams should be sold anyway.

plus wouldn't all the guys buying a team have to start over with a new stadium? If they bought the team it's gonna be all about the stadium and not building a succesful team. Less guts would be nice but i think it's laim that level 38 cap and uncapped minors teams didn't step up and take thoes empty slots. I mean there is a ton of uncapped teams that could compete in the AA leagues...

Well if ya dont plan on being moved up, its hard to step up. Just like my team last season. We lost in the second round, filled our holes with guys our level. Season roll over came through and we discovered we were now in a higher league with much higher level talent. If I had a choice, I would have preferred to wait a season or two before getting moved up because we simply werent ready and we ended up 0-16. I'm sure theres lots of owners who feel the same way and dont want to risk a 0-16 season (really kills income and players willing to join your team, it was a bitch for me this off season). However on the flip side, theres lots of owners who just want the easy no hassle trophys. Which is sad.

ture i hadn't really thought of 0-16 for recruiting, we don't handle too much recruiting in our teams.

The fire was CPU in Naga and a gm that was on their team from last season PM'd support . They let them keep the stadium and all the money for the team. We were able to acquire a more competitive team than the 255-0 CPU teams that everyone complains about. 97-17 at least is a better showing and it should get better with new signees. Recruiting is a lot easier than it used to be anyhow.Less teams more players.

I think Playing time is what a lot of players want even more than winning sometimes.

lol, go 0-16....trust me on this one. If it werent for for a couple owners from a team that folded, the only players I would have been able to pick up were the guys at 420 days old and wanted one last hurrah with a good chance at the playoffs (which moving down from AAA with our roster of 60+'s seemed like a fairly good chance of that).

So your alternative is to sit back and play CPU teams almost every other week? Nice going make sure that you post your fake win loss record when recruiting next season. AA season 12 = 10-6 ( 7 wins vs. CPU teams) AA Trophy will be tarnished this season so please don't brag about how you "earned it" whoever wins it. especially in Garuda.

Huh? Ya lost me.

I was talking about going 0-16 really effecting our recruiting. I said that in reference to your comment about it being easier to recruit and players wanting playing time more than wins. Basically saying we just did that and it sure as hell wasnt easier to recruit this past off season than it has been in the past for us.

I wasnt bragging about anything or talking trash. I dont do that at all, never have.

In fact while others have said to me I should have a good season, I said I would rather go 0-16 in competitive games than 16-0 in blowouts. I dont even believe we'll go 16-0 in blowouts this season, too many slow build teams out there now and my teams full of season 2 and 3 players that are not slow built. Not even sure we can even go 12-4 this season.
