I’m feeling good about a 16-0 week….

Alpha

Mayan Prophecy vs. Korb Destroyers
-Mayan easily took care of Manitoba week 1 thanks to back to back pick 6s. Their O line also dominated Manitoba. QB Jonnie O’Quigglie had all day to pick them apart. WR Evan Shimak snagged a couple of TDs. They gave up some yardage to Duke Nuke Em but they walked all over Manitoba which was surprising to me. Mayan looks like a playoff team imo

Korb came up to the WL and played a prevent defense all 4 quarters for some reason. They’re also waiting to cap vision on their players. Against Mayan this will likely lead to early MVP status for O’Quigglie. I’m taking Mayan 75-9

Lincoln Navigators vs. Sofia Spiders
-Lincoln came out roaring week 1. They curb stomped 3KW. Led especially by their defense which pitched a shutout. Their offense is explosive. Tons of playmakers with tons of speed everywhere. They’re loaded. They’ll likely be a 2 seed at worst. Probably the only team that can hang with the champs in Alpha. Their Center looked like a Full back out there. Their QB Riverboat Gambler takes sacks while trying to decide which guy is more open. He’ll figure it out.

Sofia surprisingly gave Drinkin more than they wanted. They brought some serious secondary players up to WL. They forced 3 picks. I think at least 2 were in the redzone. Their Guards were getting a bunch of pancakes which is kind of rare. This game is too tough for Sofia…they’ll likely start racking up some wins other weeks, but this time they’re dealing with a monster. Lincoln wins 33-10

Monmouth Evil Monkeys vs Singapore Flames
-Singapore looked like they played Bonn pretty tough. However, the game was never really in doubt. They struggled to pass week 1 and gave up tons of runs up the middle.

MEM came out and forced a bunch of turnovers and were lighting up the scoreboard early. They were up 31-3 at half and started making post game plans. They ended up winning surprisingly only by 4. They ended up with 5 turnovers total. Coachviking has a no strippers and booze at halftime policy this week against Singapore.

I’m taking MEM 28-17

Pa Dong Dragons vs. Haliblack Explosionaries
-When you’re the WL champs, babes are around every corner ready to spread em for the champs. Especially for Dooley and Gart. The offseason has been all about racking up tail and partying it up big time. Preseason and lolregular season are no exception. Gart was busy prepping for his lovin vs. some silly regular season game. The offense still killed it. The only problem was the champs drew the toughest non conference game possible. They had some costly turnovers. One on a run by snowflake and another on downs. Their kicker didn’t help them by missing kicks and hurting team morale. The new studs brought in looked great. Trench was flying around. The offense did it’s thang like always with Dooley and Jedi looking great. They got the short end today, but have a great shot for a rematch in the finals.

Pa Dong took advantage of a suspect Tasmania defense. WR Ghost Post looked great. Their defense dominated. Tons of picks, sacks fumbles etc.

Haliblack rebounds 69-20

So Cal BDC vs. Black Forest Mercenaries
-So Cal got pushed around by Stewart week 1. this week they get to do the pushing. They’ll torch BFM 48-0, but they’ll still need to get their defense on track for future weeks.

Belfast Commandos vs. Durham Ice Odyssey

I probably won’t DVR this game or anything but …Durham looked aight week 1 showcasing K left foot Louie and their punter Rocco Defacto(56.8 avg)…idk…taking Durham 22-16

Louisiana Screaming Pelicans vs. Cincinnati Shockers
-Cincy started out well against HHW until a fumble. They were probably just outmanned against HHW and did what they could to keep it close.

LSP did keep it closer against MPHD than their preseason game. However, LSP looked a bit vulnerable on the ground. I am thinking Orangeblood gets back to being Orangeblood. Cincy 23-19

Marblehead Longhorns vs. Angola Spider Monkeez
-Marblehead and Santiago had themselves a good old fashioned bar fight. Lots of FGs in that one. Luckily they get the Spider Monkeeeeez this week. Angola doesn’t like to cover HBs on passing plays and Marblehead recruited DaLep Ra Con who is a good receiving back. He’ll blow up this week in a Marblehead rout. 83-13 Marblehead

Zeta

Dakar Dragons vs. Santiago Benitos
-sweet Dakar won and I’m still surviving. Now I don’t need you anymore… Jk. Benitos slugged it out and won a defensive battle against Marblehead. Benitos should get the win here and go to 2-0. Ben Randall gets Santiago the win 45-16

Ragin Hoplites vs. Cascade Cajun Crushers
-Ragin looked solid in their opening game. Offense, defense and of course special teams. They should keep the train rolling against CCC who squeaked by Belfast. RH wins 33-15

Manus Thunder vs. Tasmania Tigers
-Manus has great shot to go to 2-0 in WL after their week one win against Korb and now facing Tasmania. Tasmania didn’t show much but WR Shane McBain flashed a bit. I am Taking Manus over Tasmania 31-15

New Jersey Blaze vs. Stewart Ballers
-New Jersey made a big time statement week 1 against the champs. They brought some serious offense with them from usapro for QB Yuri Hyuga to play with . They signed Eggleston and showcased Ghetto Heisman and Lawrence Frankel in a win against the champs. Their schedule now eases up bigtime until Drinkin week 6. they’re on cruise control until then. Even against defending WL playoff team Stewart here they should cruise. Stewart surprisingly handled So Cal with ease but should be overmatched against NJB. I’m taking the Blaze with way too much offense for Stewart 69-21

Honolulu Hurricane Warriors vs. Three Kingdom Warriors
-HHW looked like an angry machine against Cincy. Stuart Wang is probably the best QB in WL. McNugget Wang was ballistic out there with 18 pancakes. They’re the real deal and one of Zetas top contenders no doubt again.

3KW started out slow but that was against Lincoln. This week won’t be much easier if any. 3KW will have better days but this week HHW should keep it rolling unless HHW lets them win….31-10 HHW

Machu Picchu Hidden Dragons vs. East St Louis Tire Fires
-Duck Beard and Jonny Tso led MPHD week 1. tautology will call on them again against East St Louis. ESLTF edged Durham with late TD to ice it. This should be close game but I am taking MPHD 31-21.

Bonn Dynamo vs. Manitoba Matadors
-Bonn played some smash mouth week 1. lots of pro form runs up the gut one drive. Their secondary looked great like always. Only one blitz play was beat otherwise the game was in control for Bonn. Sven did lots of dirty work on the ground. Xavy did recover a fumble late to preserve the win.

Manitoba struggled passing week 1 against Mayan so this week will be even more of an uphill battle. They couldn’t get through their offensive line, so they’re definitely not getting through Bonn’s line. Bonn cruises 39-10

Drinkin Hellraisers vs. Over The Rhine Red Dots
-Drinkin’s defense is a little unorthodox but effective. They did hold Sofia to only 6 points. They’ll need to avoid turnovers this week against OTR. OTR struggled early against MEM, but made it a game in the second half. I’m thinking Drinkin goes to 2-0 33-17 DH
