It doesn't have to be a touchdown, I just wanna see some long gunslinged passes.
Forum > Game Recaps > Does anyone have a replay of a throw that was thrown 50+ yards in mid air?

Those aren't plays that are thrown for 70 yards or more in mid air. They could be a 10 yard throw but 80 yard Run after catch.

If you want a break tackle machine watch this guy: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=148814
He breaks tackles with lots of Power Throughs, Spins and just ordinary missed tackles. Usually though, in his big runs he doesn't usually have four tacklers to that are able to get to him thanks to some good blocking by the rest of the team (or just really bad defences).
But here's one with four broken tackles: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=821308&pbp_id=8366766
Opponents weren't pushovers either (in terms of builds) as it's a farm team for OTR so you know the defenders are built pretty well.
As for throws over 50yards, I doubt you'll see many at all. Reason being, the speed of the dots in GLB are a bit wierd. You know how in real life some guys can run in a straight line 40 yards in just over 4 seconds? Well, that just doesn't happen in GLB. You don't usually get ridiculous amounts of time in the pocket (which is good I suppose) so while you may still get five seconds in the pocket, your WRs are at best 30-35 yards down field on a streak play (it's a guess here, but I don't think I'd be far off). I run a fairly pass heavy offence with one of the AA teams I OC and at best I get 20ish yard throws (which the recievers someitmes take for longer). This is similar to another AA team I OC with some really stud WRs in their final few days before decline which still don't get down field fast enough for the QB to be able to throw 50 yard throws. Despite this though, I'm still a firm believer it's possible to run a successful passing offence (as both teams are 9-0 )
I think someone posted a while ago (could have been 5star?) suggesting to increase the 'speed' of players. Just so recievers could get down field in a realistic time along with their defenders. Dunno what happened to that thread.
