How about some "way too early" predictions for records?

L10 Lab Rats FTW imo.

Im definitely leaning towards the Cleveland Warriors FTW

I know not why you talk to me about predictions...but I'll give it a shot in a bit. Expect to see this post edited later for great justice.

The "Lazy-Ass" .fortune's Way Too Early Playoff Predictions

Now...

Looking at the EAST, I can pretty confidently say they are a very stacked conference. The additions of such teams like DARPA, and the return of the Eastern powerhouse of Brooklyn, Dunwich, Dyslexik, and Sacramento make it very hard for me to make any sorta guess about who'll be better than the rest, esp. at the top. But here are my wild shots in the dark.

1.) Dyslexik Tedd's Monntana Clubb Football (S11: 12-4)
I have a feeling I'm going to catch a lot of heat for this pick, but I think that Dyslexik will be out this season to prove their shortcomings in S11 were the exception not the rule. That being said, they lost to two of the three powerhouses I mentioned above, so I expect the race for the #1 seed will be very, very close.

2.) Dunwich Demon Hunters (S11: 15-1)
A team which ran through the regular season, with their only loss coming to the eventual champions the Madison Muskies. They're surprising no one this year, so everyone and their mother will be throwing their A-game at them - I have a feeling they'll be hard-pressed to repeat last season's ridiculous success.

3) Sacramento VIKINGS Pee Wees (S11: 12-4)
Honestly, any of these teams in the top-four could be the number one seed, but Sacramento faces the same problem that Dunwich does: everyone will be gunning and preparing for them.

4.) Brooklyn Bonecushers (S11: 13-3)
Ugh...this conference is too stacked. Things get interesting below here, but really...give these four teams a side each on a D4, then roll it. That's how close I think it'll be.

5.) DARPA
Hmm...the pick outside the Big Four was a hard one. There were several teams considered, but I settled on DARPA, the baby and testing ground of its Gold counterpart DoRD. For DARPA to place this high would mean for their management to concentrate pretty hard on Silver...but with them also involved in Gold, I'm not sure how much time they'll devote here. Be on the lookout for DARPA to surprise this season.

6.) Arizona Cornchuckers
A team with a storied past, I think last season for them was an off-year. Hopefully, they can back me up on that, and not make me look dumb. I like their management though, and I think they learned a lot from last season that should help them succeed this upcoming one.

7.) League 10 Lab Rats
I like L10. I don't know why. It could just be the name, or the fact that they gave really solid teams last season a good run. Due to my lack of knowledge about the East, This is more of a "I hope they do this well" sorta thing, as opposed to "this is how it is."

8.) Napa Winemakers
This team intrigues me. A new comer to this league, they seem to be a very well-organized and tightly run ship...but we'll have to see how they do.

So there you have it. Feel free to discuss and debate as needed.

I have to agree with this - I'll be overjoyed if we can win 10 or 11 this year!

You guys are a very solid team though. I would be surprised if you guys didn't notch double-digits in the W column. BUt good luck with your season!

Thanks for including my team on the list more or less site unseen, we will try not to disappoint.

As for Kwerdna's comment, it is half accurate. We were not copper league champions, but we were the copper tourney champions (and apparently we'll be getting a custom trophy for that in the next few days).

Honestly, we thought we were gunna coast in the league playoffs cause it was against a team we'd beaten 51-17 only 2 weeks earlier in a season game ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=770963 ), and we were concentrating much more on the DoRD gold league playoffs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, but it is what it is.

I highly doubt that you will Looking over your games, and your management, I feel comfortable saying you guys can give the BIg Four a run for their money. I'm guessing you take at least two of them down You guys are no joke, and I sincerely hope to (not) draw you guys for the cross-league season opener.
