Lowell Bengal Tigers in Alpha
and
Nashville Nobles in Zeta.

Hope you guys can keep up with the competition down here in AA#4 better than you could in AAA#2, though I think we have some really really impressive teams in AA#4. I think we can all agree that you will have your hands full throughout Season 3.

Just wanted to welcome you all to the board.

Thanks Todo

We got shafted a bit last year, as a brand new team. But, was fun and we learned alot from the guys in AAA2.

We'll compete for sure.

Otega, welcome to the league. A few questions if you don't mind.

To what do you attribute your performance last year? Your guys seem to have ample 'level' to compete. What are you guys going to do differently in season 3?

I think I can answer for Otega, since all of the previous posts got wiped in the reset. We were a brand new team last season, that got put in the AAA when they added the new AAA and AA. The old AA teams got moved up to AAA, and the A teams moved up to AA. Apparently, there was a hole, and our brand new, level 1 and 2 players team filled that hole. So for the majority of the season, we were single-digit levels and new players to GLB.

That league is very competitive, though, and very active. A great bunch of folks with a mean forum streak. We learned a lot, so we are really hoping to put up a good fight this season. Playing against higher level guys all the time forced a heavy rotation, so most of our guys got a good workout. We're really looking forward to playing with you guys!

Hope I didn't give away any secrets, but wanted to be honest. Haha. We enjoy the game a lot, and are looking forward to possibly attaining some wins! Talk to Moontayle, I think he can attest that we are good sports. Hell, EEAAA2 has a term for gutted or new teams thrust into a tough situation - Lowell Bengal Tigers, LBT. Not the best thing to be famous for, but we hope they remember us when we pass through them on our way to pro. =)

Yea, when I bought the team it was AA team. AA#3 iirc. I started filling positions immediately, and had about a dozen players signed before I even realized we had been ninja boosed up into AAA.

So we were thrown into the sharks tank, players levels 1-4 going up against many level 10-13 season one vets. While there were a couple games I think we should have won late in the season, we were, for the most part stacked against any reasonable progression.

As for what we plan to do this season? Well, for starters I will be taking down the motivational cardboard cut out of myself in spandex out of the locker room and replacing it with one of Jessica Biel wearing nothing but sequins. Past that, we plan to win.

Thanks for the welcomes that came before the server bomb as well, good looks guys and good luck for the upcoming season.

HB from Nashville here.

Nashville just had a similiar season as the Bengal Tigers, it's not easy to face people with 3-4 levels higher than you. But you get a good workout level up a bunch and prepare to face new competition in a lower division.

Juan and Wight answered better than I could. When you start with L1 players, then go on a huge losing streak thus lowering morale, you have no real chance to compete. So, we worked more on player builds and finding (well, from my perspective) a defensive system to fit those builds.

Things got better, but obviously not good enough. So, long story short, we are here.

Who knows how this year will pan out tbh, but with a season under our belts, a lot of great "coaching" and support from the guys in AAA2 and player levels than can compete, we should be ok.

Oh and, what are we planning on doing different this year? We're introducing the wishbone

Man, Otega, you've not been in enough groups with me to learn that my loot rolls suck. You pull the wishbone, I'll roll a 1.

Damn, did I expose some of my nerdiness there?

Haha. Yeah, I guess we're at about the level to bring in college formations now. Anyone know if they're going to have the 4-3/3-4 option in this season yet?

Ok, almost 16 hours and no new posts. I hope this is an off-season thing. Also, just stepped into AA3 and saw Focker. "Interesting" bloke... Who are the serious trash-talkers in AA4? Just would like a heads up from the experienced players.
