Season 5: Gunners 27-13
Season 6: Tigers 31-17
Season 6: Tigers 23-20 (playoffs 1st round)
Season 7: Tigers 33-26
Season 10: Tigers 83-38
Season 11: Tigers 27-23 (scrimmage that prietman cheated on)
It's the friendliest of rivalries that goes back quite a long way, with Tasmania winning five of six but with every game being competitive (save for a catastrophic AI mishap). A scrimmage this season with basic AI settings showed how close these two teams really are, with this matchup and very possibly another one in the works coming up.
Tasmania's passing attack leads the league with nearly 350 yards per game in the air, but thehazyone's zone schemes have held opponents to a dominatnig league low 160 yards per game. The key to the Tigers passing attack will be whether or not high flying wideouts Shane McBain and Sterling Griffin (30 tds on the year between them) can safely get over the middle and catch balls in traffic without being decapitated.
Guadalcanal's offense begins and ends with a monstrosity of a powerback in Mr. Whiskers Sillybuns. Mr. Sillybuns leads OPRO with 36 touchdowns on the season and softens up the opposition's front seven for a varied passing attack from 86-time All-Pro Mike Walter. But the Gunner rushing attack will face their toughest opponent of the season in the Tiger front seven. Tasmania has allowed an astonishingly low 27 rushing yards per game this year, and don't expect that team defense to let up anytime soon.
This game is a chess match, with both teams having the firepower and capabilities to win in a variety of fashions. This is a classic matchup of gameplanning and who wants it more. Few weaknesses and numerous weapons will make this the game of the season in Oceania and, dare I say, one of the most competitive matchups on GLB as a whole this season. A true coin flip in every sense, as one costly turnover, one big return, or one monster pass could turn the tide in this epic battle.
Best of luck to both teams, until, of course, our next matchup (estimated date: day 38).

but i must admit, if i were the coordinator, i would DEFINITELY have cheated.
also, talking about Whiskers without mentioning Warrick... thats just bad karma

hahahahaha i know i was just screwing with you guys
and frankly, it's pick your poison with the tigers. i only wanted to mention one matchup of Gunners O vs. Tigers D and Tigers O vs. Gunners D, and the tigers run D and the gunners pass D both deserved mention most, so i had to go with Tasmania's passing offense instead of it's running offense. Absolutely zero disrespect meant to Warrick, who will probably tear us up for 150 yards regardless of what I say.

TBH, I am sort of expecting the Gunners to finally win one, they´re due. And if we meet twice and we have to lose one of them, easy choice

I think whoever loses this game will probably still be safe from sliding to AAA. Just my guess.
