The Ranking this week see BDM jump into that #1 spot, and bumb RR and JJ down a notch.

LION
Johannesburg Jackals vs. Mean Machine
JJ keeps the streak alive this week against the Mean Machine. MM won’t be relegated this season, but they probably need to do a bit of smooth recruiting next off season, to be competitive in season 12. JJ wins 50-10
The Nile Denial vs. Carthaginian War Elephants
Game o f the week #1 for Lion. TND keeps “kicking ass, and taking names”, and are coming off of a nice win against a good Headhunters team. They still look like the team to beat in Lion. CWE still has a shot at a home playoff game and all the money that comes with it, but they need to win this game to keep pace with the big boys. The Elephants have the talent to win, no question, but TND is just on a roll right now. TND wins 38-33
Rwanda Headhunters vs. Answer Please
Game of the week #2 for Lion. It seems to me that the winner of this game will probably get the #3 seed come playoff time. Rwanda is coming off of that loss to TND, and really need to get this win to avoid possibly falling out of a top 4 spot. AP is sitting comfortably at the #3 spot, riding a nice 4 game winning streak. This is a tough game to call, as I see these teams as pretty dead even. I’m going to give the slightest edge to Rwanda, as they need this win more. 34-31
CollegeTown USA vs. Dryden Blue Balls
Two AAA new comers battle it out for playoff positioning. This should be a good game. I don’t think either team has a realistic shot at a home game come playoff time, but getting the 5th or 6th seed may prove huge as you wouldn’t have to play one of the top 2 teams in the first round. Both teams have great talent, and good coaches, but I’m going with Dryden to win this one, 28-24
Zulu Death Warriors vs. Flashdancing Platypi
Easy win for Zulu as they stay alive and well in the playoff hunt.
PTT Rebels vs. Somalia Shango
Will PTT miss the playoffs? If the playoffs started today, the answer would be yes. They need to get on a little run, and make some things happen, and it starts with an easy win over Somalia.
Dakar Vampires vs. Tangiers Cape Buffalo
Dakar is out of the playoff picture, and are now playing for pride. I expect they will be a tough team next season. TCB seems to have the beginnings of a good team, but they have a ways to go still. Dakar should win this one, 45-17
Band of Brothers vs. Newfoundland Norsemen
BoB will win another game! BoB easy.
ELEPHANT
Blood Diamond Marauders vs. Andorian Commandos
BDM is coming off a HUGE win against MNR, and pretty much have home field advantage throughout locked up. I have a feeling that the Andorian Commandos will be quite a bit better next season. This, however, is not next season. BDM wins easily.
Mamelodi Night Runners vs. Rhodesia Ratels
Game of the week for Elephant. MNR and RR, quite a bit of history here, and these 2 know each other pretty well. If RR wins, they will pretty much lock up the 2nd seed. If MNR wins, then we’ll have a nice 3 way race between these 2 and Choctaw, with MNR and Choctaw facing off next week. So who’s going to win, Wyatt Daniel, or Jessica Landry? This one comes down to turnovers for sure, but I’m taking the hot hand and RR to win, 41-36
Swaziland Southern Brown Mambas vs. Choctaw Cracker Party
SSBM has lost 3 in a row, and are now on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. Will they be able to claw their way back up? Choctaw is coming off a nice win against Swaziland, and I’m sure looking forward to the home playoff game that they WILL get. The only question is which seed. I like Choctaw here, 35-13
Swaziland Semnikati vs. Seychelles Sabercats
Swaziland just lost a tough one to Choctaw, and have fallen out of the home playoff picture. If they want to be at home come playoff time, they need to get back on track. The Sabercats have become the streakiest team in AAA#1. They won 4 in a row, then lost 4 in a row, and have now won 2 in a row. Which team shows up for this game? I like Swaziland to win 44-32
Corrupted Presidents vs. Gambia Diamond Cutters
The Presidents have a solid team, and are really flying below the radar right now. They are the current 7th seed in Elephant, and have a great shot at finishing the season in that spot. They beat the GDC big.
River Styx Jinx vs. Asmara Freedom Fighters
Oh those crafty veterans of RSJ. They snuck right into the playoff picture, and look to stay there this week, as they take on the Freedom Fighters. AFF is pretty much just gearing up for next season, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t love to pull off an upset or two before this season ends. I just don’t see it happening this week. RSJ wins 31-17
Blood Bowl vs. Teikoku Alexanders
On paper this should be a good game. But we all know games aren’t played on paper, the're played on computer monitors. BB has now lost 5 in a row, and have been proven to be pretenders after that nice 4-1 start. They are now just playing for pride. In my mind, TA still has a descent shot at the playoffs, but that loss to the Sabercats really hurt their chances. They need to get on a nice run to close out the season. TA wins this one, 32-24
Bien Hoa Bushidos' vs. ßotswana ßone ßreakers
I have no idea on this one……. Hold on, let me flip a coin. It looks like the Bushidos are going to win this one. You pick the score.
