Game of the week Lion:

The Nile Denialvs. Rwanda Headhunters
This is a game that I've been waiting for, and it should be a good one. TND keeps rolling along, but are now coming up on a tough stretch of games, with the Headhunters this week, The War Elephants next week, and Zulu after that. If they can make it through this stretch unscathed, then it should be smooth sailing till the week 16 match up with JJ. (marked on the calendar)
Rwanda comes into this game with one more loss (I bet they wish they could have that Sabercats game back), but they have been beating people just as impressively as TND has. The next 2 weeks are huge for the Headhunters, as they face TND, and AP back to back. If they lose both, the could find themselves in danger of falling out of the top 4 spots. If they win both, they will probably be looking at the #2 seed come playoff time.

I'm going to go ahead and pick the upset this week. The Billy Corman special sees Rwanda win 36-33

Game of the week Elephant:

Mamelodi Night Runners vs. Blood Diamond Marauders
MNR comes into this game as the last undefeated team in Elephant, and have had all the time in the world to get ready for this game. If they lose, they can’t blame it on lack of time to game plan. With RR on the schedule next week, and Choctaw the week after that, MNR has a great chance to lock down home field advantage throughout the playoffs. All they have to do is win! For what it’s worth, they have a great shot to do just that.
BDM comes into the game with just a single loss to a team that they out played. It sucks, but that’s how it goes sometimes. These guys will be at home for the first round of the playoffs, that much is for sure. The only thing in question now, is exactly which seed it will be. This is BDM’s last real test of the season, with the possible exception of a week 15 matchup with the Presidents. If they win this one, they will probably end up with the #1 seed.

This is really a tough one to call. I’m going to go with MNR to win this one 36-33

Should be an interesting week guys. Good luck to everyone!

if you look at more than just total yards, you will see that it was actually an even game. they converted 4 more 1st downs than we did, but we had the greater time of possession and ran more offensive plays. the bulk of BDM's yards came in the passing game, but their level 70 QB only threw for 52.4% completion... only slightly higher than our level 47 backup who took almost a third of our snaps.

Wow, taking the Headhunters over the Nile. That's gutsy. If we can pull it off, it will be our first win against them and it will give us a ton of confidence going forward. Nile has great coaches with a ton of experience, so I just hope we can keep it interesting.

If you want to get down to it, you found a flaw in our defense and exploited it. Plain and Simple. We dropped our RDE into deep coverage from pro formation. We went up 17-14 at the end of the third quarter. We then held you on your next possession. We drove from our 17 to your 35 and were about to put the game away when our power back with 95+ strength and 70+ carrying fumbled for the second time in the game. Then, you ran pro formation on every play and drove 68 yards for the winning score. You had more time of possession and more plays because we fumbled twice and you didn't have any turnovers.

And for your level 47 QB, lets see him throw more than 8 passes against us and see what kind of percentage he gets. And of the 4 passes he completed, two were to HB's, 1 to a FB and 1 to a TE. He is awesome, you must be proud!

And as a team, you completed 3 passes to WR's.

The only thing you guys did is scout and exploit a mistake and for that I will congratulate you. You just better hope you don't face us again.

I love finding exploits and then exploiting the hell out of them.

Well we won't spill the beans on the flaw we found to allow our level 48 HB gouge you for 100 yards and tw scores or to let our level 40 FB get the game winner.

Our last drive:
10.0 receiving yards from level 53 WR
21.0 receiving yards from level 54 HB
6.0 receiving yards from level 40 FB
13.5 rushing yards from a level 48 HB
2.0 rushing yards from level 54 HB
16.0 rushing yards and a TD from a level 41 FB

The only reason I am bringing this up is because I am pretty sure you will win out and be the #1 seed.

Why?
Because by then all of our many sub level 48 players will be past level 48 with upgrades!! OH, You meant Choctaw should hope not to play BDM? BDM hopes they do not play us again. If they were beaten by us again I can only imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth by skullcrusher!! LOL.

Your level 61 QB is the one who threw the most. Level 61 QB vs. a first day Level 70 QB nowadays isn't much difference. Besides, have you seen Gan's stats. Solid.

Our usually sure handed powerback had 2 fumbles that game, and we lost both. Never happens. Came down to turnovers and gameplanning. You've got some solid dots there and you had a good gameplan. I think that's enuf said on this topic.
