Guys just giving everyone heads up. I am tired of beating my head against the wall. No doubt we would make playoffs but just can't seem to get where we can beat the top teams. Not satisfied being middle of the pack.

Plan to sell all players for max cash and go slow build with "Underage Swillers" and relax a couple of seasons and come back strong. BTW, when is best day to build slow build little guys? Anyone interested in building a player for the team let me know and what positions

Been fun knowing and competing with most of you. GL to all.

Sorry to hear that Gambler, you were always a great competitor, and you did some great writeups for Oceania in your day. Here's to you guys coming back strong.

Always sad to see a good team go. But be warned, zthings arenīt going to be any easier competing against all the other slow-build teams.

Truth.

I understand selling because of time issues or frustration with the state of the game, but selling to re-build is probably a futile effort. The chances of getting back to a pro level with a baby slow build team under the current cloud system is slim to none. And the path is frustrating because you change leagues every year in the minors, so you don't build relationships the way we did in the old days.

This is why I respect the hades out of Canberra and Samoa Gangsters, because they just keep truckin' along in the Pros, fighting every year to be the best they can.

I really hope that the loss against you guys doesn't affect our playoff chances.

I'm amazed we're 11 seasons in and teams still gut mid-season and give half the league free wins. Bort really, really, REALLY needs to do something about this.

Plus, Swillers were really coming around and were hanging in there and giving all the good teams a fight.

Nobody wants to fight. They want guaranteed wins.

Well, I guess now half the league will be given a guaranteed win

Sorry, Olden, not wanting to bag on you. I sold an OPRO team once (although I waited until the end of the season) so I'm sympathetic to the struggles, but rebuilding isn't going to be the panacea you think it is. You will NEVER get back to the Pro level, and that's a sad reality.

:\ I have a feeling we won't be far behind, Gambler. Pouring so much effort into a team that simply "manages" is extremely draining, and every time your team loses a game due to reasons outside of your control (which most things are in this game), it feels like all that effort is wasted. I'm also accepting that certain (imo) necessary changes to the basics of the sim will never be made, since it is obvious that Bort's priorities are completely random at best.

Good luck in the future, Gambler, and in our game for today.

At least make it to the end of the season, please . . .

Chances of that are good, not that we've beaten any zeta playoff contenders... yet. Unless you count ourselves, but that's always with outside assistance.
