Yeah...Good game. And, if you're trying to mock us or players on this team, whatever. by creating this thread it just showed that you aren't any better and have lowered yourself.

I don't get it either, why play the game if you don't want to win. I want to win them all, we were outplayed by a superior team, they beat us when it mattered.

I would suggest that any GM for any team that doesn't care if he wins or loses should step down and allow someone else to fill that role, too many real folks who are putting real green and foldy stuff into this site deserve that type of leadership.

I don't care if we win or lose a scrimmage game. There is no point to it, might as well try out some different things that you wouldn't want to try during a game that matter. Or let your backups start to either a) make them happy or b) see if they are better than what you thought.

I'm not making an excuse for the hippos beating us, but looking at their starting lineup and knowing what we did, I don't think either of us were actually trying to win our game.

You make a valid point, but not a player switched to 'roll over and play dead' I would assume, and a wise old coach once said to me, your only as good as your weakest player.

In this game, this match-up, the better team won, I wouldn't for a second try and make excuses for it.

If it was indeed a depth issue, then we need to get better, if it was our staters getting hammered, then once again, we showed a weakness and an area to improve. If it was strategy, then our GM's need to evaluate their settings.

But when the final whistle blew, they scored more than us, may hats off to that team, they earned the win and we didn't.

heck no, i put in our backups.

and someone has been sniffling about our misc "stories" and some random alpha tester sent me a pm.

if there is one thing the misc has taught me, its that immaturity is the way to go when it comes to the internet.

If you are taking a shot at me again on that one...you need to get something straight...you tried to win the game...you obviously wanted to win the game...for what i have no idea...exactly enders point instead of trying to win the game why wouldn't you let your backups play or maybe try to throw bombs or something? so your saying i should step down because i didn't try to win two scrimmage games...first of all we have lost 4 games in 2 seasons...why do you keep insisting we are weak...we are good....period...can we get over the hump....no....but i'm tired of seeing your fukin players jock us every chance you get....would you just leave well enough alone...and wait til next year...or are you all just that glum that you lost...you have to make up for it somehow? give it a fukin rest.

This may come as a complete shock to you, but not every written word or thought is about you, in fact, I would say you matter very little when it comes to the Lions or the AA forum. Much less even when it comes to the game in question.

Once again, we lost, if you can somehow point to one simple truth that somehow coorliates this loss with your team, then please point it out for me, because it must have ewent right over my head.

The better team won, they deserve credit, I have the right to give credit away without fearing the thought of hurting your over sensitive feelings.
