You are starting to piss me off. Stop PMing my players, telling them to sign with you when their contract is up. That is bullshit ethics. At least go outside of our league and pull that shit.

I dont see why the wildcats trying to get your players is unethical? If they can sign your teams players then good for them. The thing I dont agree with is that they dont wait until the playoffs are over.

It's not unethical but it is pretty shitty.

Ok...I've cooled down some. I'm starting to care about this "game" way too much. I could use a few days in the offseason to take a vacation.

I'd suggest the Bahamas.

Never been to the Bahamas, how are they? Thinking Hawaii in a few months myself.

It's nice, reminds me of florida, just not as many smug people.

I live in Maui for 3 months out of the year due to work so it is no longer a vacation in Hawaii for me.

This game does seem to draw you in emotionally. A vacation sounds splendid...

Be careful. When you return, you may have no players left.

I went to a few islands in the bahamas on a cruise once. Cocoa Cay is a pretty spiffy beach island and Nassau is pretty sweet too.

We don't actively pursue players inside our league (USA A #4). If that occurred, then that was simply a mistake that we can fix. I'm sure someone on our team has done it, but that would be the excpetion rather than the norm.

Regardless, no matter who it is or what team they are from, we DON'T SEND OUT OFFERS to anyone other than current free agents.

We do send some players PMs to determine if they are content with their current playing situation. WE DO NOT DISCUSS MONEY OR TERMS in those PMs.

Those PMs are sent to players whose contracts end within a very few game days. Right now, that would be normally be those players whose contracts end this year (season 2) although we'll sometimes go after players whose contracts end one or two or so days into the new year (season 3).

We never ask anyone with a long term contract to "defect" or anything.

Sorry folks, if you have players whose contract ends within a few days, you need to either re-sign them or take a break.

If you're not able to re-sign your own players, I don't think the problem really lies with the Wildcats. Do you?

YOU BE THE JUDGE. Do you really think that sounds unethical?

Excuse me? What do you call PMing my players and wanting them to join your team when their contract is up? It might not be unethical, but it is pretty damn shady. Anyway, it isn't illegal, as I read a thread on the Suggestions forum about a similar situation.

But whatever. Do what you have to do. Like I said, I'm not pissed anymore. It is ultimately my responsibility to resign my players.

Yeah, just let it be lawdog, I mean you won't be in the same league next season
