How useful is it for Oline. I thought it would be a good deal for a LOT/LG facing faster DE's and DT's. Others thoughts on this? I have a G with 8 First step, likely to be 10 by seasons end, or the offseason. He is not a pancake machine, be he also does not get beat that I have seen. Any others tried it?

One is FS/+3 Blocking, other is FS/+3 Speed.

Makes sense, but wouldn't change direction or quick cut work better? agility seems more important for the o=line to keep defenders from getting around them.

Yeah, but gotta take what I can, and I figured it would counter jump off the line VA's.

I've got 8 points of it for my RT, and I love it.

I've never noticed much of a difference for it on my C, granted I only have one AEQ piece for it. If it's doing something, it isn't enough for me to see it and I'm not really satisfied with it.

Take that AEQ piece off just for once and watch the acceleration data provided by Deathblade's Greasemonkey script. You'll be surprised...

Personally - I'd think FOundation would be better for pass blocking than first step. Just my opinion, but at least htose that come with your player you can raise higher...

I wouldn't put it on any olinemen except a OT, the inside guys are going to get to their man eventually

My level 15 OT rolled a +1 First Step, +1 speed in the same roll as a +2 blocking, +1 Foundation. Foundation for sure right?

Right.

For the OP, I like your choice mainly because you get +3 blk +3 spd with it. Usually I don't recommend it.
