I'm wondering of folks actually read these posts or the ads in the marketplace.

Or if they just look at level and send out a contract request based on stats.

I read them. I just don't need this particular OT. A lot do just look at level and send contracts based on stuff though. I look at other things (build, is agent showing TO type characteristics, etc)

Oh, I've owned a team once upon a time, so I can definitely appreciate that. Just that 50% of the teams who've already sent a contract offer not only don't fit the tier I've requested, they don't fit the competitiveness I've requested.

Just frustrating is all... its like they ignore what I'm asking for and send the contract request anyways.

I read these threads to avoid agents who say "PROS ONLY"

I think that the problem is his build is not World League level. Not really built as a LOT or ROT, and that is probably why many WL and even Pro teams are passing on him. Just my opinion, but letting you know that owners do read these threads.

I read. Not quite the Pros but were in USA AAA. Past 2 regular seasons 30-2 and 2 conf champs. Were very interested in Blade. Sending PM and offer now...

Teams like Ole Miss, Auburn, Clemson, South Carolina, etc. send out scholarships to just about every player worth a damn every year knowing they won't get 10% of their offers....some people just like to reach high and hope to land a star or two.

Well look, I read your ad, and I'd like to send you a PM, but I'm a lowly AA team. Either way, the rest of my offense is at a level tier equal to yours, so I don't see why it'd be a problem. I'll hold back though just because...

yep.... Players asking for World League or Pros only are more often than not a joke. There are some AA and AAA teams and possibly even a couple Uncapped minor and A teams that could beat some of the pro or world league teams because they are able to sign the same level players. Don't get sucked into the name of a league get drawn to the competitiveness and drive of a team because in the end you can be 4-12 on a World League or Pro Team and will that be an accomplishment for you because you were there?

Yeah its weird ... I have had agents turn down a starting job with our title winning 14-2 AA team that was getting promoted to AAA in order to go to a pro team and sit on the bench ... just blows my mind

Well guys a lot of it is fame, financial stability and the fact that if your aren't successful at AA you probably aren't very good. I SERIOUSLY think you're delusional if you really believe that a AA-AAA team can beat a WPL team when both are prepared. And its not just about level, usually the Pro's have a better quality of high leveled players, i really can't imagine too many epic high level builds that sign with AA teams for any other reason than trying to pad stats.
