My first ever GLB player will be reaching his decline soon and I will only be keeping him around for one more season on a team full of inactives and rejects (long story). It's amazing how far building has come since the earliest days and how much better my second and third generation OT's will be, and already are.

I just wanted to post his open build, with all equipment taken off, as a point that even the best builds from season 1 - and I think I did pretty dang well considering - suck pretty hard 10 years later.

I'll be pouring one out for him when I do finally retire for the flex.

PS - in case you were wondering, equipment was +20 blocking and +13 strength with an additional +5 in Protector

Strength 80.23 natural
Blocking 74.47natural

Yeah, I like to think I did decently well for an early Season 1 player too.

The only fatal mistakes OTs made was spending in tackling and spending a ton in SAs. Else it is a pretty salvage-able position, I'd say, because the gains are pretty low.
