Recap of Round 2 Action
Well, as if anyone really expected anything less, in both conferences the #1 and #2 teams are playing for a chance at the AA4 Championship and Promotion into AAA2. Here's a quick recap:
- Krakow faced its greatest challenge to date, only managing to put the game away in the early 4th quarter on a 46yd Field Goal by Nick Folk. Once they were ahead, Krokow's defense went to work and kept the Outlaws from even getting close to scoring range again. Krakow won 13-10.
- Dallas and Minsk met again in what was the most tightly contested battle of Round 2. With :39 left in the game, Minsk kicker Tex Bailey hit a 29yd Field Goal to send the game into overtime. But Dallas got the ball first in the extra quarter and almost casually marched down the field, only needing to convert a 3rd down once before See Bass nailed a 31yd Field Goal to send the Smoke Stacks into the Conference Championship. Dallas won 19-16
- London went ahead early on a short field goal but those were the last points they would score as Odessa proved they were the dominant team in Zeta by winning 30-3.
- Warsaw also put away an upstart Volgograd team, but with a bit less flair as they won 13-3.
And now, on to the Round 3 matchups.
Alpha Conference
1. Krakow Cows (18-0) vs. 2. Dallas Smoke Stacks (16-2)
Previous Matchup: Week 3, Cows won 17-13.
Commentary: Does it really get any better than this? Dallas has been on a huge win streak since their week 3 loss to the Cows, racking up 9 shutouts and never allowing more than 10pts to be scored on them before their recent game against Minsk. If Krakow has anyone they need to worry about, it's these guys. However, Krakow is also on a winning streak, one that extends back to the inception of the team, and it's going to take a lot from the Smoke Stacks to pull off the upset win. These two teams matchup very well and it'll be an interesting game to be sure.
Upset Potential: High
Zeta Conference
1. Odessa Falcons (18-0) vs. 2. Warsaw Warriors (17-1)
Previous Matchup: Week 9, Falcons won 21-13.
Commentary: With Warsaw's only loss of the season coming against the Falcons, and that being one of the best games of the regular season, this is one of those games you're going to want to sit on the edge of your seat for. These two powerhouses both are deep in talent and high on expectations so look for both teams to mix things up in the hopes that they can get the edge they need to overcome their opponent.
Upset Potential: High

And I see with "my" team quite simply more possibilities for the victory. And we have player and Coaches which can use her possibilities. I count even on a higher victory than within the normal season. Pure realism, sorry.
