I'm just curious how many owners support the WPL being added in season 11, and I figure if I am only Polling 32 Oceania Pro team owners, perhaps the mods will smile upon me and not lock this.

I like the idea, I just wish they would actually take the 32 best teams and not the top 4 teams in each conference. I know BDR is going to get killed, and the Hoods will be annihilated. But we are always ready for a challenge and will never back down.

I dont have a simple solution but I'm we can use the BCS. It never screws up.

I dont think they should use the tournaments as the measuring stick. Some teams focus their energy on their regular season schedule and dont have the resources to pound out a plan everyday for friendlies, etc.

I think the World League can be a reward for doing well at the Pro Level. It may also help spread the talent around a little bit. How many players have we seen who post in their recruiting thread, "USA ONLY." Right now, USA is not the easiest path to the World League....it is one of the "easier" Pro Leagues like this one.

I also think after this season they should only promote the league champ and filler teams for guts.

It's a good idea to encourage good teams to play in non-USA pro leagues. I approve.

This right here... the only leagues where the majority will be against the WPL are USA and Canada.

Also, I think 4 teams from each league (as rumored) should promote up to the WPL. Sure, USA and possible Canada will retain a lot of good teams worthy of competing in the WPL, but it will be the spark that makes the top FA's reconsider signing in those leagues in the off season when it will be easier for them to promote to the WPL in another league. It will balance out the leagues eventually.

Fwiw, I planned to bring all my results together from the 8 regions and post them on the main forums. It appears however that bort has made a bigger and more efficient actual poll, making mine obsolute.

I think you make it easy. Consider all regions as equals initially and take the final 4 out of each league for the first World League season.

All World League playoffs teams (16) play at the end of each season and the non playoff teams get booted downstairs to be replaced by the (2) finalists in each of the 8 regions each season thereafter. Keeps it simple.
