Should it always be in pass blocking for the extra line general?

Personally I only do the +6 for CE anymore with my new players. I tend to wait until I know more about what SAs I will spend SP on before filling the SA tree for 300 flex. Line general is probably the best SA by far for a C to answer your question.

I boost the run tree with my 300 for C, but I also don't spend SAs on anything but pass block(2), run block and get low (will get these both high). As for Line General, I am picky about AE and for C just get 2 LG pieces, at level 40 you have 8 in it. I think this should be sufficient. Some players swear by foundation, as for me and my builds, I haven't had a problem pass blocking without it.

I am starting to think along the same lines as Dragon and not even boost the 300, just the +6. A few positions with high SA totals might be worth it (ie: pass rush tree for DE)
