Looking through the results Alpha is far superior to Zeta.

Victoria Pirates and Guam are clearly the strongest teams, with Hamilton coming in third (But I think you could take 4-5 Alpha teams and swap divisions and each would be undefeated in Zeta also.)

Playoffs should be quite interesting. Looking forward to it.

Wow i total disagree with that zeta has 5 great strong teams that some may have lost to alpha teams to start season but alot of those was due to team chemistry from rebuilding their teams

Trust me. It's not even close. I'd say 9 out of the 10 top teams in Oceania AA #1 all play in Alpha.

The team chemistry arguement is baseless.

Consider this: The pride of Zeta, the (1) Hamilton Hellcats narrowly defeats (9) Hollywood Warren Brotherhood - 44-31. Hollywood Warren Brotherhood wouldn't even be in the playoffs if the season ended today!

The numbers don't lie.

I've been looking over the numbers also, and I'd have to agree. Alpha has alot more solid clubs. It's to bad the talent level wasn't distributed more evenly between the two divisions.

If we were in Zeta I think we'd be undefeated as would several other Alpha teams. I think we need some re-alignment.

Glad to see our team and pride in the same sentence. Thanks.

But, we did also beat the the Pride of Alpha, the Guam Chamoros Rising Sun Devils in pre-season.

So I am not sure why this is not being taken in consideration when doing the power ranking that includes the pre-season games?

Guam has stockpiled a load of talent since then. Check out their roster. Team chemistry could be what beats them.

Here's Orlando's showings against "potential" Alpha playoff teams. 0-3 and embarrassed for most part. Hamilton is by far the class of Zeta, and the only team in Zeta worthy of a spot in the leagues top ten club.

Scrimmage Games
Date Opponent Score
06/14/2009 at Flaming McNuggets L 8-44
06/18/2009 at Helsinki Hitmen L 16-52
06/20/2009 Mooloolaba Maulers L 17-26

Additional research indicates to me that the second best club in Zeta has to be the Geelong Outlaws - and certainly a candidate for top ten consideration, especially considering they hung tough with Victoria in the opener.

I would say the pride of Alpha is Victoria Piranhas and we run a close second due to our chemistry.
When we lost to Hamilton our chemistry was in the toilet I think with equal chemistry Guam Vs Hamilton would be a hell of a game.
Geelong is our partner franchise and I agree with Batonball's assessment of them.
Batonball and I go way back and he has even spent time on our team.
He is a great owner, a class act, and a stand up guy.
very knowledgeable also.

I think all this is crap. You can't take none of this to heart. All we can do is compare past Games ( That don't mean shit) and give educated guesses. Which even then we don't know what's going to happen. We just had a Scout go down the other day over a broken Collar Bone. I might die tomorrow. But in the end, the Argument about Alpha. vs. Zeta will be mute. It's going to be about who want's it more in the end. Guam's Players or G-Long's Players.

What if it was a tie? Can it be? I know in everything else a Post Season Game must keep going. What if it was like the Charger Game and go into, What? 2 Overtimes? I'll never forget Winslow being helped off the Field by his Teammates. Talk about putting everything on the Field, lol.
