Zeta vs Alpha

i realize we had some bad matchups, but man, what ass beating the conference took.

top 3 teams won in zeta, also Husak won, but rest got beat or blasted.

I'd like to thank Husak for helping us get our playoffs spot.

We were one of the "beat" ones, bloody interception on the first OT play. Ah well, it wouldn't have changed our playoff slot. Good luck in the play offs everyone.

The alpha team we played put up a very good fight. Wow, hey are a tough conference.

we r one of the losing team from alpha ,we played the top zeta team and lost only in OT (fun game to watch) and we r only the 6th seed in alpha .
The last team from alpha (omaha beach) also got their first win before being relegate.
Alpha dominate this time ,it will probably be different next year.

A little surprised to see the uneven levels, but Permian and Madrid are tough teams for sure, and they could beat any team in the AA#2 league.
I'm pretty darn satisfied with shutting out the former number 2 of zeta, but was surprised by the overwhelming score.
Also interesting to see Omaha going into this round 0-15, walking away with a win against a 6-9 team.

weird game for my team.

turnover after turnover after giving up first td of game on a pass play. but defense stepped up, and offense did enough to put them away in 3rd.

i tell you a team who looks very tough in alpha going into playoffs is Christiana. I looked at them, checking out their game with NFLUKManchester, and they are very solid team. i wouldnt want them if i was #1 team in 2nd round(if they win first round game) Not a team you want in 2nd round, after earning the top seed!

as in Zeta, i thought a 4/5 game of Husak-Madrid would be a tough 2nd round game for Panthers. Husak is scarey 2nd round matchup.

hamburg played us tough first time. barely squeaked out a close win at home. our QB at the time, didnt do us a lot of favors, he had a weird build that didnt work for team. We turned the ball over very little, but in past couple games, its getting to be a bad habit, cant do that if your pretty close on skills meter. For some reason, we have 1 stud rb and a solid backup, and our rushing meter dropped to 24 from 27. weird! i think hamburg game goes down to the wire, they seem to have the build to give us fits.

We had two bad stretches where we had to find our balance again and faced 2 of the top 5 teams in the last 2 games.
But we weren´t blown off the field and always had the chance for a comeback

heh, we have the Grass Root Divots and Koncorde has stopped asking teams to rip them apart and show them the error of their ways. It's probably because he knows now that his team kicks ass. That's worrying!!

Even if we do make it through (hey, we can all dream, right?) to the Rd.2 we have the winner of Madrid Tigers & Hamburg Lightning. So I guess I'm saying not to put your money on a Panthers V Team final! Ha ha!!

Thank you! I tell you, we looked at your win against the Fire as to how to beat them, by running the ball a lot noticing their strongest defensive players were in the backfield, and I have to say that I feel that it was a successful strategy.

of course we won more in the alpha conference. we are the alpha conference

ok enough. joking aside its interesting to see the difference in wins and losses for sure. its gonna be a great tourney. i will certainly be watching who beats who and who takes it all.

Lots of learning and lots of pumping valium into our owner so that he doesn't make silly threads any more.

Just a quick note to say a big well done to everybody who has reached the playoffs!

It has been a tough season in Zeta and Alpha and the fun has only just begun :-)

Anytime. We started and gave our backups a lot of PT against Orebro, so picking up the W was great. BTW, how many teams get sent to the playoffs from each conference?
