Woohooo, interleague play. Still playoffs spot up in the air, so this week does mean something. Lets go bitches!!!!!!!!!!

This should be an entertaining week. I think a lot of folks are expecting the West to dominate these matchups, but I have a feeling the East will put up a pretty good fight. There are some intriguing matchups, including Slashers - Grave Diggers, Demolition - Vanguards, and Assault - Lizard Lickers.

One playoff berth is still up for grabs. In the West, Austin still has a shot, if two things happen:
(1) Austin capitalizes on Fanboys never seeing Beavers before
(2) Seabrook turns Spokane Dream into a Nightmare

There are a couple interesting interleague games. But nothing between any really elite teams. The Horde aren't likely to be slowed down much by the Demon Sweat..

Don't forget the Toilet Bowl.

Yeah, I don't know if I would say the West is going to dominate. Bottom line, as mpowell pointed out, there isn't much in the way of top teams playing each other this week. I haven't check just now though, so no offense if there are two top teams playing and I just haven't seen it.

I see the West taking these matchups 9-7. It could easily go 8-8 or 10-6 though.

I think this would be much more interesting if there was some sort of pre-determined system that it was going to use.

#1 vs #4, #2 vs #3, #5 vs #8, #6 vs #7 from each side and so on. That would really be a lot of fun.

It would be really cool if they could set it up where the last game came down to a matchup based on standings. Unfortunately, there would be no way to ensure each team would get 8 home games if they did that.

The Fanboys hope to continue playing spoiler today and go out and take the Beavers playoff chances away from them. If we can't go, they can't go!
