I don't think I've been part of a league that has been so competitive quite for some time. And so many owners/gm's that were as knowledgeable.

Anyways, a few of us at AAD had started super slow building (as we call it) a team a few seasons back. This team will now take the field for the first time this coming season, 4 seasons later. We've already started training our next team. I'm interested in starting a new team next season around day 20 for those that are interested. Because honestly, I'm sick of having to make most of the players and managing them.

For those not sure of the concept super slow building versus regular slow building. Basically we train our players for 4.5 seasons on intense, with no actual playing time. What this does is gives you a lot longer period of time to train your attributes up, as well as acquire more SP from bonus tokens. The negative of course is the limited number of seasons you'll have to play before they start their decline, which of course, none of us have yet to see.

I'd love to see 20-30 owners/gms/etc join up from here building 1-2 players next season. As I said, we would build these players around day 20. This gets you to level 13.5 by the end of that 5th season. So PM me and let me know if you are interested. I'll give you access to our private forum so we can keep in touch that way. I may send PM's to a few of the "elite"

Yup. But just think how much better your level 13 player will be. But that is why we've started building them now every season or two, cuz it sucks to wait for so long.

I'll send you guys an invite to the private forum so you can stake your claim on your player and so we can keep in touch. Because 5 seasons, who knows where we'll be.

Also. The other part of this SSB is you need cash for intense training. In fact, you need approximately $70k to get through the entire 4.5 seasons. We will cover this for you by signing you to one of our farm teams or one of our own expansion teams. And we'll do this fairly early in their development since we don't want the expansion team to get hit with a morale hit. It's kind of a pain to do as we have to renegotiate a number of times in order to build up that much money, but once you've got enough, we'll let the short term contract expire and you're done.

My team was SSB, but not for 4.5 seasons....that is a looooong time...

Other then patience skills and a shortened career (in theory), what other neg do you see?

Plus, other then creating a player, you don't spend any FP for 5 seasons. No 3 level boosting.

Yes, part 1. It's always fun to kick ass for awhile. But then to have superior builds at equal levels.
