This is the first team I have owned, and in four seasons we won a league trophy and reached the conference championship game in two other seasons so I would say we have been about as successful as any season 6 expansion team has been. The thing that has made this team the most fun for me though is the rivalry with Kaohsiung and Essen Pumas that we developed, not to mention the old rivalries from season 6 that were rekindled this season with Starkvegas, Kronborg, and WV Mounties. Plus the respect I have for some of the guys in Alpha, like Strykr, Stu, joeflex, and others, this is by far the classiest league/tier I have been a part of as an owner or GM. I was sad that I had to say goodbye to several great agents last season when we had the fire sale, but Rhine River got a great one in darthmattino, and West Seattle got another in Motiak.

My GM's and I have elected to retire a lot of our higher level builds, many of which are on the Dragons because they aren't as good as they could be. Many of them are the first players we ever made, and we now know how to build better players. I would say every build to a man is fairly strong, but not the first player on the Dragons is slow built for example. So, we are going to sell the Dragons, build us a new team, and come back up through the new cap tier system in season 11. I think Bort has gotten it right with this realignment system he is installing, and I am ready to have several seasons of competitive ball without having to worry about being promoted, and having to worry about replacing people that I have come to like on my team because my new league level doesn't welcome their players into it.

Most of all though, I am just glad that JeffryD and crew got to beat us in a game that meant something, even if he had to use a ton of level 48+ players to do it. I was beginning to fear his head would explode. jk Seriously, good luck against Windsor. They are either the best or second best team in all of WEA depending on which way the RNG is bouncing whenever they play the Hat Tossers. I have my doubts that Dresden could beat them, and I was kind of hoping my boy Strykr would knock them off tbh. lol

At any rate, I am sure I'll see most of you guys on the flip side in other leagues. Good luck to you all.

Dresdon Dragons, I'll remember.

The game we lost to you in the regular season taught me a lot about game planning. We really did a lot of scouting and planning before the conference final. You guys have put a great team together. We figured we have to play very hard to have a chance. After all, the Casino went 0-4 against Dresdon Dragons before this season. Though the outcome of the conference final didn't look pretty, it was a good game, in my opinion. I know our DC, Bear72, will be glad that we don't have to try to stop PipBoy 30000 again. Hehehe..... Good luck!! Wish you guys the best.

I am astonished at the news
well, good luck to you and your teammates!

about the level difference
I think this is a sin of this IMBA game right now
Dresden had been successful than most teams, including Casino
when we were promote to A league here, the imbalance had existed
you succeeded, we failed to promote to AA,
3 seasons being in the same place,
so I think what I can do is recruit some higher, stronger players to help my team
it's imbalance to other teams not do so, I think
but, it's the sin of this game, IMO

good luck to everyone

Dresden Dragons will be missed. We really respect you as a team.
If we don't beat you before you sell, owner JefferyD's head would indeed explode.
Although it's too tough and too exhausting to play you guys, Casino will look forward to playing against you in some other format in the future.

Good luck!

Oh my goodness, what has GLB come to...

Good luck in future endeavors, respect is mutual, the past 3 seasons have been very fun and I have a special place in my GLB heart for everyone from the Season 6 Expansion.

We'll be back, though perhaps not here. My GM's and I already have one slow build team coming up, Beer Drinkers, Hell Raisers, and Mom, and we have begun the process of building the new team that will replace the Dragons, so we will be back. This really isn't a sad day for me. I see it as a new beginning because I now know how to bring a team up, where I was basically feeling around with Dresden, and I now how to build players pretty good I feel, I was basically feeling around with those players as well.

We can build this team with the confidence of a group that has been there before, and do it without making the mistakes that we did. That is what I am looking forward to the most.

He is one of the two players on the team I am not retiring. I might have to dial up cjx from Essen Pumas or Crashtrask from La Tourette Syndrome to see if they want him. That way you guys can continue to enjoy his presence in a conference rival's offense as you move up to AA. (It might actually be worth it to send him to B&B though just so I can get a look at Cheng Tai Lee's build lol)

Seriously though, I already promised him to a buddy of mine's team.
