It's been a very interesting season to say the least. It has been exciting from start to finish, which has proven that Canada BBB8 is a competitive league. I know the playoffs aren't completely over, but I decided to post this since the conference playoff is over.

1 - Whitby Thunder Led by their WR Leinahtah Revooh (55 TDs) they were a force to be feared all season. The Thunder stumbled in week 2, but it would prove to be their only loss. Six points was the difference in going undefeated, and they later avenged that loss to Charlotte in convincing fashion.

Kari Watson (15 sacks), Adam Thunderwill (15 sacks), Dos Uno (8 INT), and Bear Vorsicht (3 def. TDs) led their stifling defense to a very successful season. Only twice during the regular season did they give up more than 16 points, while they also recorded 4 shut outs. They are your season 9 Western Conference champions.

2 - Charlotte Grumpy Ladybugs --> Charlotte has looked good all season. Offensively, they had an excellent running game in which HB Slammin Sam produced 5500+ yards. Few teams were able to slow down their running attack, but when they did, the defense held the opponent's offense in check (holding opponents to 4 shut outs as well).

Their stingy defense was led by INCOMPLETE (10 INT), Charles Torete (10 sacks), and Pepin Oliva. Unfortunately, they suffered a massive defeat at the hands of Whitby in the conference championship game.

3 - Delta Dreamers --> Delta came out of the gate very strong this season, racking up 8 consecutive wins to begin with an 8-0 record. They had a very solid offense that was led by QB Ellone Rose and HB Casey Rose.

Their biggest threat was undoubtedly their defense. Led by Thomas Hurricane, Justin Kotlarsic, and the sack machine VICTOR VICIOUS, they struck fear in the hearts of offenses around the conference. They put up a very good fight in the second round against Whitby, but just couldn't muster enough offense to pull it off.

4 - Hub City Hustlers --> Hub City was kind of an enigma this season. They had a successful season, accomplishing an 11-5 record, but never could seem to win the big games. They had a very good passing game that was orchestrated by [M]atthew [S]tafford that was complimented by their running game. HB Jason "The Jet" Jackson led their ground game with 3200+ yards and was a receiving threat as well (700+ yds), racking up 56 TDs.

Brian [O]rakpo and [T]ony [C]arter led their defense who could play well at times, and also suffered at other points. They recorded 4 shutouts, but also gave up 47+ points on several occasions. Overall it was a good season for Hub City, making it to the second round of the playoffs.

5 - Chicago --> Chicago started out slow the first half of the season, but that was due to an early tough schedule. They had a pass happy offense that could sometimes get them in trouble with turnovers. They have a solid HB duo of Jacob Generally and Humphrey Dueyfarkle, who combined for 3300 yards and 55 TDs.

Their defense had problems for a good part of the season, and was a contributing factor in their first round playoff loss to Hub City. LB Brian Haner Jr. led a good LB corp, and Smack U, as well as, Defend The Pass were bright spots with their secondary. They had a good season, but next season will be better if their defense improves.

6 - Burnaby Beaver Lovers --> This is the Jeckyll and Hyde of the pack. They had impressive wins over Chicago and Mont-Tremblant, but also had devastating losses to some of the better teams in the conference. Turnovers really hurt them all season, although QB Jim "The Waco Kid" had close to 3,000 yards and 33 TDs. HBs Ed Jaco and Micheal Bodmer combined for close to 3,000 yards and 43 TDs to help add a little balance to Burnaby's passing game.

Defensively, they struggled with the running game at times, but was pretty solid defensively most of the season. Safeties Gary Fencik and Jim Leonard amassed a ton of tackles in their run support assistance. LB Tico Torres, DT Sack Daddy Five (8 sacks), and CB Mongo Sanders were a big part of their defense.

7 - Mont-Tremblant Flying Broncos --> They rode a 6 game winning streak in the middle of the season to make the playoffs. They ran the ball on the legs of HB taylor byrne, who racked up 30 TDs and just shy of 2,000 yards. They really changed things up a lot over the course of the season, going pass heavy some games and more balanced with others. They used a short passing game for the most part, with HB taylor byrne being a frequent target.

They had a very good defense that kept them in a lot of games. LB kay ellis was solid and DE john bowman was an absolute monster. CB kuwazy k played with confidence all season as the defense proved to be a valuable asset to the team all season.

8 - Wasilla Arctodus --> Wasilla rounds out our playoff teams. Just like Mont-Tremblant, they had a nice string of wins during the center part of the schedule to gain their spot in the playoffs. They displayed moments of strength and moments of weakness all season. They had respectable showings against Charlotte and Hub City, but dropped games to Chicago and Mont-Tremblant late in the season. They did a considerable nose dive towards the end of season 9.

They definitely were a pass first offense, which was directed by QB Joseph Montana. WRs Jerrie Rice, Sara Palin, and Joes Toes were used quite a bit. HB Barry Seanders almost reached 1,000 yards rushing, despite being with a passing offense. Their defense was solid most of the season. LB Rachel Romney and CB Deion Seanders led the way, but the defense really seemed to falter towards the last 1/3 of the season.

9 - Rocky Mountain Caddies --> Not the best of seasons, but they did have decent wins against Caribou and Alpha. Their QB Alpine Golfer finished the season with 45 TDs and over 4,600 yards, with his favorite targets being WRs Ron Cribbs and JC Wyatt (who combined for 3400 yards and 39 TDs).

Defensively they were led by DE Cyrus Parker (9 sacks). They just had too many CPUs to compete this season.

10 - Caribou --> Unfortunately they have gone CPU. QB Tom "The Wolverine" Brady had close to 4,000 yards and 30 TDs, but also had about a 2-1 TD to INT ratio. Caribou just never could get on track, although they still had a slim chance of making the playoffs towards the end of the season.

FS Tele Tubby did a good job of playing center field, and LB Mick Crocker had a solid season.

11 - Alpha Flight --> TE Sallad Kralc was the centerpiece of their offense, as QB James "Bucky" Barnes passed for 5,700+ yards and 55 TDs. WRs Kid Got Some Hops and Matthew Algiers Simon were also big contributors to their passing game. HB Nefarious Norwood managed to eclipse the 1,000 yard mark, despite the huge passing attack by Alpha.

DT Sanoj Kern was the star of their defense, which made a good showing against Chicago's offense, but struggled for most of the season. If Alpha can sign some defensive players this offseason, they will be a force to be reckoned with next season.

12 - Thunder Bay Tin Men --> The Tin Men had a good defense all season, but just not enough offense to put them over the hump. They used three QBs this season, but Humphrey Boggart (2200+ yds and 22 TDs) had the majority of snaps. They had two 1000 yard backs in HB Ricky "Sticky-Icky" Williams and justin gates. Regrettably, they just couldn't seem to get the ball into the end zone enough or this season could have been a much different story.

They had a solid defense that played brilliantly at times. LB Imuna Eat-Chu was an absolute machine, 162 tackles with only one missed tackle is quite a feat. If their offense can get on the board more often next season, they will be a contender.

14 - Toronto Regas --> Sorry guys, but you are just 14 by default. Too many CPUs and not enough depth makes for a 3-13 record.

15 - Washington Ghost Riders --> As much as I hate putting a CPU team ahead of human owned teams, they did beat Cedarville and Vancouver.

16 - Cedarville Hawks --> Almost entirely a CPU team. You have to recruit to compete in any league.

16 - Vancouver Jax --> Owner went over five months without logging on. Logged in a week ago to break his streak of inactivity. lol

I'm just glad you're coming to BBB6 with us so you can do this stuff next season too. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Also, make a note of our losses...we couldn't defend the run at ALL this season. We aren't built to yet. Even against Charlotte in week 16, we sold out to stuff the run and still gave up 100+ yards to Sam. It's our only real kryptonite until we start to actually focus on building our run D...which is going to be basically the next season or two.

Thanks guys, it is pretty time consuming. I will try to have 3 or 4 write-ups next season. I should have a little more time since I have an OC for my team now. It's rough being everything for your own team and a DC for another. lol
