Eastern Conference
The top 4 remain. I was impressed with this French team who I think assembled their team a little later than most of us, but they got it done and with some decent levelled players. But, I really don't think they stand much of a chance against the Dogs, biased or not. In reality, they played the Dogs better than anyone but lolcanada during the regular season. Could they take it the next step and cause an upset? I sincerely doubt it....
The matchup everyone has to be talking about is the Colts versus lolcanada. The Colts talked big before their last two games. I thought they'd lose to the French team, tbh, but they blew the doors off them. After all that bravado, the Colts ended up getting waxed by lol and the Dogs. The big question would be whether or not they've devised a defense for Cue Beef. Or will they just tuck their tails and blame Running QBs being an "exploit" play or whatever they tossed out there after lolcanada trashed them the first time? I can't wait to see this one.
Western Conference
Waco and the Tarantulas should be interesting. 26-21 first meeting, but the 21 looks a little different if you factor in a pick-six. They did run ALL OVER Waco, though. The top four teams in this conference seem alot more evenly matched, there were few blowouts between them in the regular season. I expect Waco to take it utilizing a slightly superior passing game.
Herbs and Thunderbirds - Herbs take it in a walk. 55-0 first matchup, don't see any reason that will change much. I was surprised that the T-birds beat the Tarantulas, but they got ripped against the top two. Looks like it will be all chalk in the finals.
