ok I meant to put this up yesterday for the quarters but ran out of time.

conference semi-finals

alpha

l5r vs hooligans = l5r - hooligans have had a fine win against the scotsmen, but lost to l5r in the regular season. They have the potential to beat the l5r team and will want revenge for their earlier loss, should be a good match.

vistgoths vs shamrocks= vistgoths - despite a great win celtic in the previous round, shamrocks will have to come up with something special in order to beat vistgoths, who are 15-1 this season and are favorites coming into this match.

zeta

Beef vs sidhe = sidhe with a 16-0 record, is hard to see any other result, but I named beef the black horse(cow) at the start of the season, and they have the potential to create an upset. should be a great match.

Anaesthesiologists vs x factor = x factor - This will be a very tight and hard fought affair, another fine semi final match to watch.

bbb7 overall final - sidhe vs l5r - to close to call, would like to say l5r but its would be anyone's game at this stage.

I don't follow Alpha but I think my game with Express is intriguing. I won in the regular season but I probably shouldn't have - now I've boosted but the bottom line is my team is still a season away from being competitive. My defense is reasonable and my offense is really hurt by the fact that no one on the O-line has speed yet.

Even though I beat them in the regular season AND I boosted late I think I'll drop this one - I give myself a 45% chance to take it.

yeah your regular season win was an upset, whose to says you can't make it 2 out of 2!? oh wait, that was me and u actually!

at least Kilkenny ROLLED by a much wider margin than in the regular season

All I can say is I'm sorry. You outplayed me in both games this season but lost both. Can't believe my kicker went 5/5. I think Bort is meddling in our games. So who's picking me to beat the Sidhe?

I give my self about a 5% chance to win this game - I'm still just slowbuilding at this point. Maybe I'll meet up with you guys in a higher league some day where I'm equipped to give you a good game.

And the Leagvue championship comes down to L5R versus the Sidhe . . ..

I can see what the scouting bars have to say about the match-up.

I'm a LOT curious about how this will play out.

I hope you will comport yourself honorably as you yield before my forces.

Failing that, I hope my forces comport themselves honorably as they resist you to the bitter end.

First game we've had a negative turn-over count all season, BTW.

gg sidhe, a very close game, turn overs were key, but if it makes you feel better we missed a fg and might have got a td at the end there (or fg at least), finishing on your 13yd? line.

you also made some ballsy plays which worked for and against you ie (4th down and 9.5, you throw it for 10, and 4th and 13.5 you throw it for 10 again).

Anyway, all the best next season, we like the team ethos you have, very honorable.
