#1 Lux vs #4 Oct
Week 16: Lux 23, Oct 16.

Losing by a TD was surely disappointing (especially since we wanted to ruin Lux's 16-0 season), but I think Oct learned a lot from this game. I am sure both teams will scout a little harder for the rematch and the game will be even lower scoring than before.

Oct will have to watch out for Lux's extremely good KR team. Lux also has a bit of an advantage in the passing game with their strong QB and much higher leveled WRs.

Lux will have to watch out for Rutler in both the ground and air game as he has the speed to break one at anytime. Oct's QB is also extremely underrated since Oct has not been targeting their WRs as much as other teams.

My homer prediction is: Lux 17, Oct 20

#2 RRR vs #3 Whitechapel
Week 4: RRR 24, White 17

The meeting earlier in the season probably is pretty meaningless. It was a close game and I'm sure both teams have changed or will be changing their AI substantially and have learned each others (and their own) strengths and weaknesses throughout the season.

RRR had a lot of trouble running the first matchup, but their passing attack was enough to win. I can't imagine RRR being held to 2.2 yards again without White giving up even more to RRR's passing game.

Whitechapel will need more production from their WRs not named Fabio this game. White definitely has the edge in the running game with two beastly backs and a very solid offensive line.

The Rippers are pretty active in the forums so I'll just guess that they'll spend a decent amount of time game planning. For their own sake, I hope they do, because both me and Octo think RRR are the best team in the league and I know they are solid gameplanners from their days in BBB1 alpha last season.

Homer BBB1 prediction: RRR 35, White 17

For wildfire to win 20-17, we'll need two things
1) win the turnover battle
2) no punt/kicks returned for a TD

If either of those fail, I think luxembourg has an easy victory coming. But if we can take away, what unfortunately from a gameplanning perspective feels like luck, those two things the game should be very tight! He didn't get any big returns on us in the regular season, hopefully that luck will hold up for one more game

I agree if RRR puts their mind to it, they should win that game. They have to put the effort in, though!!

RRR is way way solid in the D. But with a elusive burner RB...thier Strong D is very easy to exploit because they are extreamly slow for this level...IMO.

Our scouting/preparation/etc topic in Wildfire forum was ~90 posts long when tactic changes locked, and our game should look NOTHING like last time.

Here's to hoping Luxembourg didn't change too much, or things could get real ugly, real fast :X

hehe,
just got off the phone with Constipated Moose (our OC) about 1-hour ago.

Moose--"well I am nervous, I changed our offensive game plan quite abit. Hope it works"

Burt -- "cool, if it does not, I can always fire you for screwing up the undefeated season"

Haha yeah I spam it pretty hardcore, too. Our offense will be literally nothing like we've ran all season, at least on 1st and 2nd down. Either it will work or it wont, I guess it depends on how many defensive adjustments were made, and if I was correct in thinking they'd work in the first place

Ugh, that offense was a MACHINE, turnovers killed us especially at the end. I felt we deserved that win watching the film :-\ oh well, as I said we had to wi nturnovers and didn't and that was the game, simple as that. Good game

Damn, outgained by 100 yards and only 2 punts. I knew my offense would rock, you guys had a lot of holes we hit pretty hard just that god damn fumble when we could put the game away *sigh*
