how significant is the out of position penalty?

I would not do it unless I had no other choice. There is an OOP but it seems small for the O line. The problem is that OTs just can't build like Gs or Cs. About the only positions I would move around is a C at G. Or a C built like an OT at OT.

The OT position requires lots of blocking and agility. With an emphasis on agility. They all need agility but OTs tend to get to 68 sooner. DEs are hard to block as it is.

A DE's agent would argue with you about them being hard to block...but the reason they suck now is because OTs have specialized to beat them!
