...not folding. However, we are restructuring and will most likely not be in Africa AA#2 next season.

Unfortunately, this season did not go anywhere near what we expected (and that is an understatement) and we have decided that while our talent level was certainly much better than our performance and record showed- we may have been hanging in this league too long and just didn't get the hang of the game in time to be very successful and win a championship. We have been here a long time and witnessed team after team fold...and we came close to a lot of great things. Well, we did do a lot of great things in my opinion.

The age of our players could have possibly attributed to the lopsided losses we endured during the season, but again- we can't begin to understand what happened when we finished 14-2 the season before in a league that was arguably much more difficult with pretty much our same roster. In fact, we have had around 90% of our roster since Day 1 in Durban and are proud of this.

Therefore, we have decided to do somewhat of a "start over" after all the knowledge we have learned, all the nerfs we have seen, and all the shifts from defensive to offensive advantages presented by Bort each season...that we hope to build an even better program than Durban has compiled to this point.

It has been loads of fun since Day 1 and thanks for putting up with all of us over each season- we hope and plan to see you all very soon.

P.S. Your Unanimous Defensive League MVP, Kurt Brinkley, will very likely be a Free Agent next season.

maybe

Kurt has been busy raising his son, Kurt Brinkley Jr, who will be starting for Durban next season...but with Kurt Brinkley's performance this season, no one would have guessed he was taking time off.

Sometimes the plan works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes you have to be smart enough to know which is which. Thanks, guys, you've been good sports when I've slammed you.

yeah, I was going to retire Kurt Brinkley but I decided I'll have plenty of Flex to create what I need...and plus, Kurt is tired of screwing all the chicks in Durban. his son will continue his legacy.

We hope they drop us to the bottom after our restructure so we can be competitive...but if they don't,. that is okay- because we have a mission and we will work towards fulfilling it. If we drop down like we hope, we plan on seeing all of you again very soon. Thanks for the great times.

GL to you guys in the playoffs, do Lion proud.
