3. Florida State Warheads v 6. Esik Eagles

Good luck to all in the 1st round! I don't think any of the underdogs can be counted out in the first round. What are peoples' predictions on these games?

I really like Coral to beat Izmir. They put up a decent effort against the Bolts which is DEFINITELY not as easy task. I also think Esik might be able to give Florida State a scare. I do think the Bolts will handle the Trojans easily and I'm not going to comment on Rome because I don't want to jinx what little chance we have

Logic doesn't deal with imagination.

But I would agree, I think the only game here that is going to present even the slightest of a challenge is the Warheads/Eagles match-up.

Florida State has allowed some scores through the air and the Eagles are pretty good at scoring through the air. But I still think Florida pulls out. The big bully.

I think Coral stands a better chance than Esik but I think they both will need a strong game to win.

Coral's pretty one dimensional. Pound the ball. Izmir has a Top 5 rated defense against the run and pass and I fully expect them to shut down Coral Gables on the ground. Coral doesn't have enough firepower through the air to compensate.

I'm gonna go with Rome, Birmingham, Izmir, and Florida State. These Teams alone are one of the strongest top 4 that I have seen in GLB. It will definitely be a challenge for any one of these 4 teams as either one can upset the other. This is probably the first time taht you can not for sure say who the winnier of the conference will be. The only "for sure" thing is that the League Champion will rise out of Zeta.

I honestly think that there really is no debate on who wins these games. I'd say Bolts will win it all though.

I don't understand why Izmir is getting such little respect. I think they have one of the hotter teams going into the playoffs. The only team that I would want to face up against less than Izmir would be Rome. Thank goodness they have to play each other in the semis.

We will be attempting some magic against Rome in the first round. But I doubt it will work lol.

you forget though that Rome beat Bolts in the season, it will definetly be a good playoff match though between the top 4 teams
