There are two games that could impact the playoff race:
Kathmandu vs Phnom Penh Warriors
and
Hellas vs Burma

There are also some points scored considerations that could impact tiebreakers amongst the top teams, but it doesn't look likely that the order will change so i'm going to go with the points scored standings as they sit today. (Burma, Mongolian, Ack, Hellas).

IF BURMA BEATS HELLAS:
#1 Burma
#2 Mongolian
#3 Ack
#4 Hellas
#5 Phnom Penh Kung Fu Panda
#6 Kathmandu
#7 Bangkok

IF HELLAS BEATS BURMA
#1 Mongolian
#2 Ack
#3 Hellas
#4 Phnom Penh Kung Fu Panda
#5 Burma
#6 Kathmandu
#7 Bangkok

IF KATHMANDU BEATS THE WARRIORS:
#8: American

IF THE WARRIORS BEAT KATHMANDU:
#8 Phnom Penh Warriors

I'm not sure which I prefer. Option one has us potentially playing Kathmandu and Mongolian in the first two rounds, which would be a lot of fun but very challenging. Option two has us with a much easier first round game and likely two home games, but no rivarly games unless Kathmandu beats Hellas in the first round.

#1 sounds more 'fun' but #2 is best for the team's success. So... GO HELLAS.

Pretty much everyone is rooting for Hellas except Burma actually. that drop from 1st to 5th would be pretty harsh. Especially beneficial to the Kung Fu Panda who would score a home game and a first round matchup against a team they beat in the regular season.

The playoffs are going to be exciting regardless. The top 6 teams are very, very, VERY even. You could order us any way you want and I don't think anyone could take serious issue with it. Rarely do GLB playoffs include 6 teams from one conference who won't be significant underdogs in any playoff game.

If I were Hellas I'd throw the game, find out what Burma does against you and then get them in the 2nd round. They maintain a home field game.

whoever gets Kathmandu, they'd better be ready for a battle! Perhaps we can get some upsets and steal a home game later in the playoffs

GG Mongolian Horde! We didn't think that there would be any way to beat you and we're proud that at least we kept it close!

GG Pandas.

The Hokies were screwed by one of our GM's who was unhappy with the team and bankrupted our finances, and then an owner that disappeared over a month ago. Our roster has been killed by expired contracts. I doesn't look like our request to change ownership came in time to help salvage the team for the playoffs and it's likely that the team will fold. It's a real shame because we had a great group of guys and it's been a lot of fun playing in this conference. I'll be checking back to see who ends up with the trophy!

We're going to try to get the guys on other teams owned by some of the Hokies players, but there may be some opportunities for recruitment, if you think any of our guys are worthy of it.

Thanks to all of you for a great season.

i am disappointed we did not get a chance to beat you guys straight up. We felt like we had a very good plan agaisnt you guys and with the way our first game went had a very good chance at winning. Our first match up we did not game plan and held you guys down except for three screen plays by your elite elusive back. That guy is a monster on hb passes. We just felt we just needed to tweak a few things to keep him from doing to much damage, and attack some spots on your defense, and could have a very good shot at winning. Then we saw you guy lost a couple people, and your owner has not been on since May 21. A win is a win I guess, but the whole point of playing is to beat the good teams in relatively even competition and it takes away the "feel" of the win. Now even though we were very confident going in we will never know how it would have turned out.

Good season by you guys and sucks to see the players screwed out of legit chance in the playoffs. It would have been a battle and the players from both teams deserved what would have been a very good, close, hard fought game. Good luck in the future with your players
