You ready?

This game means about a million, million and a half for the winning team as they get the playoff game at home. I'm looking forward to a very competitive game.

Good luck to ADD and everyone else playing this week I have the weekend off so I'll be around and waiting nervously pre and post kickoff

Not yet, but we should be by game time. And I'm expecting about the same. Should probably be a low scoring game with the win going to whichever team makes the fewest mistakes (ie turnovers).

Well with Colbert and Dick running around on defense, Pedro may throw a pick by either laughing too hard or getting shot in the face

Yeah, you always have to be on your toes with Cheney around. But as far as the game goes I think these last two games on our schedule will be good for us regardless of the outcome. Some tough competition to end the season should hopefully show us what corrections and adjustments we need to make for the playoffs and get us a little better prepaired before it turns into do or die.

I honestly think my tactics offensively won't change all year besides a minor tweak if I feel a certain position is better off. This game is huge for our defensive tactics, I think I got them down but I'm not 100% sold yet. This current set will just wear down teams with continued big yardage plays and shutting them down on D. I'll give up 2-3 yards a play, sure but no touchdowns. One game we gave up 300 yards but few points. It may not look as good on stats compared to SGA or PRA, but that means we shut them down or forced turnovers when it counted. That won't always happen and in our latest games we've reduced yardage allowed by a lot.

Did you see this TD by our fourth WR 0_o, http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=3994087. You can't blitz this team when we pass (which teams will do often, as we DO run and that's semi-effective to stop it) as all of my WRs will simply juke to a TD or a large gain on a pass to our wide open TE who is one of the better WRs in the league providing stats even when triple covered at times .

I've watched your latest game and came away impressed. The D is solid and doesn't show many weaknesses. I have a feeling this is another turnover game like you said. Your team is solid in staying right there with teams and striking that final attack to cripple them just as it destroys their momentum. It will be a fun game to watch.

Well, my first idea for our logo was a Ritalin label.

Nothing against Lowell (you guys are still my second favorite team ), but I think our defense will be a little tougher to do that against. Still looking forward to a good game though.

He's done that all year, he's just been triple covered when doing it for the most part. He is probably faster and more agile then any CB on your team, no offense to them. It's not intentional as much as a quirk to teams that favor long passes defensively, but it's always funny to watch the LB/FS AND CB all cover the TE leaving the WR wide open for a nine yard slant, when he's actually more of a threat after the ball then the TE.

But I'll take what I can get.

Good luck to ADD, I'm hoping he is the difference in the game. TE's can dominate teams versus weaker LBs.

I decided to check out both teams and just looking at starters listed alone, Detriot only has the 2nd WR, Kicker, Punter, Center, Left Guard, NT and DT at higher levels than our team. Every other player on ADD is either at the same level or a higher level than the Detriot players. I think that shows a bit of the difference between the two teams right there. And i like how you point out that TE's can dominate teams versus weaker LBs, our starter is higher than your LBs, and I know as the back-up TE, I've breezed by a lot of defenders, there was one play where I smoked someone for a whole hell of a lot of yards and a TD, i think he was an FS. Korth or Blakkjack know what I'm talking about.

Point number two, and yes, I know this will sound weak since Detroit knocked off BHB who was on a 10 game winning streak at the time, but ADD hasn't lost a game since week 4 as well probably the most competitive game as of late was our 13-3 win over Combat Warriors. We've also got more shut out wins, 7 to 3 and riding 4 straight shutouts. I think it speaks better to us because we've been fairly consistant in all our games, while Detriot being a little more sporadic then again it could be the scheduling as well.

Really, I think the one thing that it'll come down to is team chemistry, which I think does play a factor in all of this. Detriot has a good defensive chem but not such a good offensive chem meanwhile we've got one of the best chemistries out there. I think this is what will give us our edge as we get a victory. Just my thoughts.

Note: Dah, I can't get it to quote the way I want it to, you know what's mine and what's not now feedbackage.

Its all good guys. Both sides will have their points and counter points. I don't think there is really much need to have arguments about which team is better, we really both are pretty evenly matched. Either team has a good shot at winning this game. I wouldn't be suprised in the least if the loser here managed to beat out the winner in a rematch in the playoffs.

We have full confidence in our team's ability to get the job done, just as Detroit's players and GM's/Owner have full confidence in their's, and they have a right to. Both teams have done well all year and I expect the same in this game. As I said earlier, I think it will all come down to turnovers.

Meh. Compare the teams all you want to. I've vowed to keep my commenting this week minimal out of respect for ADD.

Enjoy the game.
