I think this will start some discussion in our forum at the very least:

1. Mighty Chihuahuas (9-0): Beat Boston and handled Long Beach with ease, #1 until beaten.
2. Boston Bears (8-1): Only loss to #1 team, has coasted by every other team
*Awaits freak out from 222*
3. Virginia George Washingtons (9-0): Wins over Bakersfield/OK City impressive albeit narrow victories
4. Bakersfield Nanananas (8-1): Loss to Virginia keeping them out of top 3, otherwise very impressive performances so far
5. Long Beach Dub All-Stars (7-2): Only losses to #1 and #3 teams
6. Saginaw Supernovas (7-2): Quality losses, handled Beantown and Dallas
7. OK City Twisters (7-2): Loss to Beantown keeps them out of 6th, but has top 5 potential
8. St Paul Vulcans (8-1): Only loss to OK City, has taken care of decent east teams with ease
9. Beantown Bastards (6-3): Probably the most difficult team to rank, quality losses and a win over #7 OK City means they're a darkhorse in the playoffs
10. Corrupted Presidents (8-1): Only loss to #2 Bears, untested otherwise. Could be a top 6 team however

Top week 10 games:
West
Mighty Chihuahuas (9-0) vs OK City Twisters (7-2): Matchup of two top 7 teams
Long Beach Dub All-Stars (7-2) vs Dallas Hitmen (5-4): Upset potential
East
Corrupted Presidents (8-1) vs Jacksonville Bulls (5-4): Bulls are an East sleeper team, could tell us a lot about Corrupted
Phoenix Scorpions (7-2) vs Sleepy Hollow Horsemen (7-2): Same as above with Sleepy the sleeper team (no pun intended)

Start the debate!

safe to say the west owns the east?

and we are happy with our 9spot

Corrupted handled Saginow Supernovas in the scrimmages (loong time ago). No doubt that they are not representative, but they still give a pretty good signal. Well, since we lost to VGW and were brutalized by Long Beach I guess that the scrims aren't that good at predicting strenght anyway...

Sad thing is that the ratings were done by a GM of an East team.

That's Ok - -we prefer to fly under the radar.

I am more concerned about playing the All-Americans next -- We could never beat them in BBB

We beat Mighty 65-34 in preseason then lost 38-44 regular season, so while I did look at scrimmages a couple times (since there's only 1 game against the other conference) I really didn't put any weight to it.

And danpenc, I'm sorry for hating on the East but I'm just trying to give my honest opinion. You guys will get higher once you start playing the best teams in the east...as long as you win

While I'm very happy with my team, I'm well aware that we have some of the toughest teams left to play. One of these days we might even play well in a playoff game.

I have a feeling that the Bastards will move up a lot during the second half of the season.

I could care less where you think your team and the Chihuahuas belong, but wanted to point out that your logic is severely flawed. The VGW's have met and beaten your #4,6 and 7 teams. Mighty has beaten the #5 and you have lost to the "#1 team" and beat the #8. What formula did you use for these "power rankings?"

If you could care less then what's the problem? I used my opinion not any formula.

Not so fast -- They have not beaten #8 YET

That game is coming in week 15.

Unless you count week 2 of last season.

I was just pointing out the fallacy that is your opinion and the fact that there is no rational thought, or intelligence behind those same thoughts. I didn't expect anything less since you have been trumpeting the greatness of the Bears since the beginning of the season. It makes sense that you wouldn't rank anybody but the only team that has beaten you this season #1 because any other selection would mean you would have to let some of the air out of the Bears tires.
