The scoreboard showed what we thought of them tbh.

I've been drinking more and am also pretty burned out. Honestly not sure how much longer I can be full time owner, OC/DC recruiter, chief cook and bottle washer. I have some help but still most of it is on me. Matt knows I am just joshing anyway.

Me too--that's why I've decided to forego any kind of gameplanning this season. I change the offensive/defensive AIs a little bit here-and-there to make sure the team is calling the plays I want during games, and that's about it. Luckily it's been working out pretty well so far this season.

seems to be a theme in general with a lot of the teams i've got guys on - sort out tactics then no changes other than sorting out AI mistakes

makes life a lot easier imo

After seasons of setting tactics and AI's pretty much the only time things get changed up is at the start of the season now following sim changes. Then a few games of things changing a little here and there to account for AI faults or the sims not behaving quite as expected. After that its pretty much the same game after game with some minor tweeks here and there to account for the strengths / weaknesses of the team you are playing with individual settings remaining static.

I am way too obsessive compulsive for that. You guys should see my offensive AI. I have over 200 inputs. I like to micro manage. Right now I have 4 fully functional offensive AIs with themes. I have been switching between them liberally all season and also adding in special touches for some opponents. My only problem has been getting my players enough play time this season. Game plan wise I am in the zone with our only really close game coming against ECA in our overtime loss. Still looking forward to seeing us matched up against Heidelberg and to seeing an ECA vs Hitmen game. Those three games will most likely determine who is seed #1-#3.

I'm with you Mere.....have about 6 or so myself.

I tweak the one I feel best exploits my next opponent and save it each and every game. So technically I have one for every game the past three seasons. But they are all based around 6 different ones.

#1 Thanks for letting me know about your offensive AIs and that I can skip gameplanning for you in the playoffs (if we make it).
#2 200 inputs is a lot. I only have 3 for us right now. Basic offense, FG, punt. I don't even have a 2-minute offense in case you haven't picked that up from watching us on film.

In all seriousness, when is the last time you had 200 situations occur in a game? How can you actually have any kind of targeted game plan?

Most never trigger tbh. Many are highly situational and just plain never come up. However after being burned by the sim calling something stupid in a situation I hadn't considered has happened enough times for me to continue to add stuff. 75 of the inputs are all in the 4th quarter and cover a variety of situations that could potentially arise.
