Big difference, you have several level 45 on your team. Anyway, have fun this season. You should have a HB with at least 7000 yards rushing this season.

I didn't ask to be in this league, I was perfectly happy barely making the playoffs last year. Thank Bort for that one.

The rest of his team are not that great so it does not matter that he has a few level 40+ players.

There are quite a few actually. We used to joke in SA #7 that one of the owners had his couch on craigslist to boost his team. I am someone who is tired of getting "bling" every season instead of a better working SIM. I thought this game was the shit when I first started playing, and I still enjoy it, but I am not going to buy FP anymore and pay for Bort's salary to keep a game in Beta forever. So instead, I have moved all of my players to my own team to ride out the rest of what I have put into the team, which is three or four more seasons, can't remember. My players won't boost unless I get free Flex, so that means one O-lineman a year gets one level quicker.

What sucks is that I loved this game until last season when Bling became obviously as important to Bort as a properly working SIM. Really, an MVP Race??? Is this what we were all asking for, I thought it was better passing, lessen blocking, and tone down power backs. We got the power backs done, but now Elusive is dancing better than ever before. Also, read about the test server and environment, The test, Dev and live servers all run different scripts!!! How are you properly testing anything and then implementing it if you are testing in a different environment than what your CUSTOMERS, not testers even though this is Beta, are playing in. Then applying a fix and wondering why it doesn't work properly on the live server? I am dumbfounded every season. What's sad is that even though there were 200 sacks in a season by a DE three seasons ago, it was still the best SIM that we've had recently. Do yourselves a favor and stop paying Bort's salary so he gets the message that we want a working SIM and not bling. I still check everyday and mostly all day, but most of my time is spent in the Bugs forum, you should be there too. Sorry I am bitter these days, but I have spent a good amount of money and time in here and don't feel like I have gotten what I paid for yet. Then to come in here and listen to people bitch about a HB when the SIM still needs a lot of work... Ahhhh the bitterness...

It has been unfair this season and has ruined it for a season.
My team where brought into this league from a lower capped league. We had to comply with the level 34 cap and had to compete with level 40+ players from day one.
It'd be better to cap the league to the highest leveled player within the league at the start - or remove the cap altogether...

When I found out about how the cap was going to work(based on averages), I started signing as many players over the cap as possible and figured at the worst I'd be moved to a no-cap league and at the best, be put in a capped league where we would compete very well. With several of us gone next season, the Firecrackers should compete very nicely for the top spot. Make sure you get your bottom bowl built and you should have plenty of money.
Just looking at WEA#2 it looks like there could be up to 8 of our teams moving up.

They have 4 teams that are CPU, and although I have no real concept of how the promotion/demotion system works, it wouldn't surprise me at all if a good chunk of our league transfers up.

I don't know if he'll do another major reshuffle like last season...I think he'll get a lot of people cranky again. I know that it was a pain in the butt trying to get all the teams in this league figured out when I already had a pretty good grasp of what was what in my old league.
Although, I'm not sure how it works when there are so many CPU teams. WEBBB#4 could have about 6 new teams next season if Bort brings down the 4 CPU teams from WEA#2.

Unfortunately, I couldn't sign any higher leveled players prior to this season as I was in a lower capped league.
Will hopefully complete the Formby bowl for next season so the money starts rolling in.
