After the first quarter of play (almost midseason now) West Scranton, Cascade, and Osaka remain the only undefeated teams in the GPL... err I mean OPL. This will change come week 8 when the Invaders take on the Cajun Crushers at home. Two seasons in a row I have hinted at a potential upset in this game... not going to go there this year. In Zeta, Osaka finally erased any doubt that they are for real this season after defeating Bisbane along with some impressive scrimmage wins. Meanwhile, the rest of OPL Zeta lived up to their nickname, "The Meat Grinder", as they continue to beat the shit out each other week in and out.
All that said, there is still a lot of football to be played any many questions to be answered... Can Osaka sweep OPL Zeta.. will anyone step up in Alpha to challenge WSI and CCC.. are the Tasmania Tigers the most underrated team after opening the season with a brutal schedule.. and many, many more.
