Alpha Rundown

This week in the Alpha the big matchup is the Sin City Silent Assassins going up against the Irish Car-Bombers... This is a match-up that we may come to see again in the playoffs, and the projector has it being a close match with Sin City prevailing. Livorno is looking to tack on a quality win against Glasgow after having a relatively easy first 7 games to start the year off. Hamburg will be trying to make a name for themselves as they take on the undefeated Barcelona Brawlin' Brewers, who hold the top spot in the Alpha Power Rankings. A win here for the Hawks will prove that they are legitimate playoff contenders, although they'll have to beat the projector to do so.

Monaco is facing the last-ranked Pepperoni Naples, a welcoming sight after the grueling schedule they've endured throughout the first 7 games of the season. They should win by more than what is predicted, in my opinion, as they are better than their record shows.

Zeta Rundown

Just like in Alpha, the Zeta conference has a few match-ups we might see again in the playoffs as well. The Algarve Sharks put their unbeaten record on the line against the Kickback Cavaliers... A match-up the projector is saying won't be as close as the records indicate... It's up to the Cavaliers to prove them wrong... Another potential playoff match-up pits Antelope Valley against the Salt Lake City Utah. This is game of the week potential, as the projector is predicting a very close victory for Salt Lake City. Will it live up to the hype?... The top-ranked Invasion don't have much of a challenge this week, as the Mayhem shouldn't serve much of a problem for them.

Cybertron looks for their second win in a row, as they are gathering steam now. The projector is calling for (yet another) one-point game in their favor, this time over the Edinburgh Highlanders. This game has playoff potential as well, as Cybertron is another team that's better than their record shows. One last thing of note is the battle of the winless teams, with the Capeside Minutemen going up against the Baltimore Knights. Projector gives the edge to the Knights in this one, so it's not looking good for the Minutemen if they hope to get a win this season.
--------------------------------------------------------------

That's all for now, I'll post the update Saturday night!

EDIT:
Scores have finally been updated to reflect tonight's games. The predictor did better this time around, only getting one game wrong, and of all games it was the one between the two last place Zeta teams haha... I also think that for the most part, the scores were more accurate in terms of win margins, but still some variants in there (Cybertron once again, for example).

Keep up the great work Phillies. Good luck SLC. This should be a real close game and as you might think, I disagree with the prediction. 30-28 us would be a better outcome.

I believe Edinburgh is another team who is better than their record shows. It's a match-up between two of the biggest sleeper playoff teams in my opinion, and could have big implications down the road. Glad everyone is enjoying it so far

As a side note dabest, are you active over on the IGN Baseball boards? I used to go there a while back (haven't been in a while) and remember a Phillies fan over there with the name dabest... Just curious haha

Those level 40 LBs are absurd. I don't see how we can win.

Sorry,I don't recall an IGN baseball.

It's really too bad that Cole Hamels isn't doing well. At least Raul Ibanez is good.

Haha oh alright I was just wondering. And yeah Ibanez has been sick... Hamels is looking a lot better but he keeps getting annoying little injuries...

Anyway, I might have the next projections up later tonight, so keep a look out
